  1. I am not gonna lie to you. After few minutes of searching (while having this almost heart attack) I am convinced that it's a mistake, the comment is surely about Iniesta!

  2. EmryLou says:

    yum!

  3. The Fourth Official says:

    Oh, Rio . . . .

  4. Boston Red says:

    Hot, hot Rio!

  5. FirstTeamCoach says:

Rio Rio, looking HOT and fantastic as usual. The wedding ring looks a little strange still *sigh*

  6. TammyV says:

The shirt really? Really? *rolls eyes* Do spoiled, rich, British kids get to have an opinion on race-relations in America?

His belt is crooked… it really shouldn't bother me but DAMN I think I've been around the military for too long to handle this belt crookedness.

  9. Dreamgirl says:

Oh wow!!!! Hunger and disease are still rampant in the world, soldiers are dying on the battlefields, the world is in an economic crisis and some people find the enery to complain about someones right to wear a t-shirt. That is amazing.

Rio looks fantastic as usual and I am sure he will consider his choice of shirt more carefully in the future.

  10. Venice says:

    Nice combination, I like it!

  11. Erin says:

    It's a farking t-shirt.

  12. kaya says:

Rio is such a poser, but does rock the designer jean look well. I have to think MLK would be saddened at being likened to Rodney King.

  13. Jess Holroyd says:

Jeans is trendy all the time.
Rio Ferdinand is still handsome and manly.

  14. Macacinha says:

I don't particularly find Rio attractive, but he does dress extremely well most of the time, even when he doesn't make much of an effort, like here. I'm actually quite jealous of his ability to do that.

She<span class="wbr"></span> doth<span class="wbr"></span> protest<span class="wbr"></span> too<span class="wbr"></span> much.<span class="wbr"></span> If<span class="wbr"></span> I<span class="wbr"></span> really<span class="wbr"></span> loathe<span class="wbr"></span> a<span class="wbr"></span> player<span class="wbr"></span> that<span class="wbr"></span> much<span class="wbr"></span> I<span class="wbr"></span> just<span class="wbr"></span> dont<span class="wbr"></span> bother<span class="wbr"></span> commenting. Rio regularly meets with the Prime Minister discussing strageties to deal with the young black culture in the areas he was brought up. He has personally set up various sports centres and clubs to get kids off the street. However in the eyes of the uneducated Rio will always be the pampered, spoilt player who forget his drugs test – although various forsenic tests conculsively cleared him from ever having misused substances *sighs frustratedly*

I don't care about Rio… but he might have grown-up "poor" but he had parents who loved him and grew-up "happy" by all accounts. Correct? He was scouted and tracked for his talents, signed to contracts young, not the typical impoverished lost childhood as you all wish to paint. Secondly, as a citizen of his country and a high-profile one at that, he should be working publically on causes he believes and I respect that. He probably is well-versed in race relations in the England/UK, which is EXCEPTIONALLY different then the race relations issues in the United States. That shirt is addressing race relations in the US, not the UK. First team coach – I never associate Rio and the missed test. Did he screw-up? yes. What he punished? yes? What is a fair punishment? yes since he knew the consequences ahead of time. Did he complete his punishment? yes. Was that the end of it? should be. Same position that I have on Manny's failed drug test and 50-game ban. Boston – the post is about his outfit, which would be is shirt, so my comments are directly on point.

OK calling time on this one. Let's move on please.

He always wears clothes very well (even women’s clothes!) and I love that hat on him.

  23. Jo says:

Yummy! So "happy" equates to "spoilt"?

I suppose that he has as much right to wear that t-shirt as we have to comment on it.

  24. TammyV says:

Boston, I will continue to voice my opinions as I see if, just like everyone else. The post is on his clothes - how hot he looks - I find the absurdity of his shirt choice detracts from that. It makes his seem shallow and hypocratical, neither of which is hot to me. See it all ties in…

his clothing choice is the topic and everyone’s opinions on it. So No, I will not stop talking just as I expect you will not. Every outfit is in every picture is commented on and you have bashed more than your fair share of people for what they have worn… it is part of the philosphy of the site. I find it funny that you are now complianing and only because of the target. Remember, goose/gander and all that

  26. Boston Red says:

Tammy, stop talking full stop please. You hate Rio. We get it. A comment like that is completely unnecessary in a post that has nothing to do with what you seem to think it does.

  27. Boston Red says:

The post is about how good looking he is, whether you share that belief or not. If you don’t share that belief then I don’t really think there’s a need to comment. No where in her post did Ms. Kickette say, “please comment on Rio’s t-shirt and your interpretation of it.” You just take pleasure in stirring up sh*t. So again I say STOP TALKING.
