Sequined Style Off: Helen Flanagan & Sylvie van der Vaart

Going up against one of the OG WAGs in a style off is a daunting task. But we think Helen Flanagan is up for it here. No, we’re not talking about her cleavage. Yet.
Ms. Flanagan, who is currently shacked up with Man City new boy Scott Sinclair, attended Specsavers’ Spectacle Wearer Of The Year Awards (yes, those exist) in this sparkly green gown by Manchester designer Nadine Merabi. Now, we all know that Helen is working with a seriously awesome pair of ta-tas there and containing them must be a challenge. If we could yank that bustier a half inch to the right we’d be 100% happy with this. She looks gorgeous though and we have major skin envy.

The current queen of evening wear, Sylvie van der Vaart attended the Berlin premiere of Skyfall in this lovely embroidered Basler gown. We’re a-okay with the front, but the back was more overworked than a fourth official . We don’t think any dress needs glitter spaghetti hanging off the back.
Who gets your vote, Kickettes? Helen’s green mermaid gown or Sylvie’s golden stunner?

Neither of these ladies have dresses that fit them. The tan one is way too long and the green is too tight on top. Can we vote for neither of the girls?
I have some quibbles wit the fit on Helen's gown, but the color is great on her, and the hair and makeup are really perfect. Sylvie's dress….the sparkles don't change the fact that her dress is a big ol' pile of bleh beige, and her makeup is just as dull and colorless. Hair looks good, though.
I actually kind of like the spaghetti stuff hanging off the back of Sylvie's dress, although Helen stands out more with her glasses and emerald gown. The green dress does look too small for her though, a slightly larger size would have worked a lot better…
I love the green dress but the effect is spoilt by the fact it simply looks too small for her. Bulging out of ill fitting clothes is never really a good look
Sylvie always RULES!!!!!
I'm torn:
I love the color of the emerald dress. It is stunning but the bustier makes her flawfree rack look lumpy and mangled.
Sylvie's dress has stunningly pretty bead work, but she is basically the same color from head to toe… For her that is actually a good thing, she's not orange.
I think that I'm going Helen for the glasses actually
I love the green dress! For some reason it reminds me of Wizard of Oz.
Funny how the spectacles counteract the rampant boobs so she looks cool and luscious rather than tarty. Sylvie needs to find a new lipstick, I think. That heavy mascara, pale matt lipshade look is doing her no favours.
They both look good. I like the green colour of her dress and Sylvie is not orange in colour ( of her skin).
Not sure why my previous post was deleted but to reiterate. Helen should go back to brunette. She is stunning with the dark hair
Green mermaid dress is gorgeous!
and i love the fact she wore her glasses
