Spanish WAG Style-Off: Iker’s Former v. Iker’s Current
It was bound to happen, Kickettes. Iker’s former WAG, Eva Gonzalez, and his newest flame, Sara (Pastasauce™) Carbonero, both attended the 20th Anniversary event of Telecino. While their french-manicured acrylics may not have been out, we’ve been furiously filing and buffing ours with girlish, competitive glee.
We’re mainly concerned about the gory, awkward encounter deets, but unfortunately we hear that both ladies played nice at this shared social event and kept a courteous distance. While situations such as blue carpet run-ins are imaginably difficult, we’d feel much better knowing that one girl laid the smackdown on the other. At the very least, some residual holes from ‘accidentally stepping on her dress’ would’ve satisfied us.
Sadly, senorita slingin’ was not in the stars, so instead, we want your opinion on this Doing the dirty with Iker may have helped me pay for this ensemble fashion throwdown.
Whose look do you prefer: Eva G.’s Greek goddess Nina Ricci gown and Gucci heels or Sara P./C.’s short and sparkly Antik Batik for Papaya dress and Stuart Weitzman heels?

well Sara looks kind of awkward standing. I think she’s hunching. I like her dress but the shoes is a no. She’s prettier though, if she went more natural with her makeup. She’s not a model after all and that’s a compliment.
and eva…she has to look good, she’s a model. I never liked her and never will. she thinks she’s better than everyone else.
The look on Sara`s face is like she has just seen Eva`s dress and that makes her green with envy.
Eva is cute. Sara looks like a hybrid between Aishwarya Rai and E.T. Eva wins.
Eva is prettier but I like Sara’s dress more… even if the shoes are pretty awful :S
Eva looks like a greek goddess in that dress! Eva wins hands down. Sara is trying too hard. I like her dress but those shoes look too big on her. Makeup is too much and she has a stubborn look on her face.

I’ll go with pastasuace even though the shoes look waaay too big. Everything else looks decent though. Dont like what Eva’s working with.

I love both dresses but for me it has to be Eva. It looks more classy and sophisticated and suitable for an occasion it was
. If Sara had different shoes then ok…. but they look mis-matched. so eva!!!
I love Sara’s dress and I do think she looks great, but the shoes are all wrong. They look like either the cheapiest cheapy Primarks or that she’s borrowed them off her much-bigger-footed sister.
Eva just stuns naturally, although as a model/entertainment presenter I would have said Sara’s dress is much better suited for her. Sara’s trying to be Mrs Serious Sports Lady no? Then put either the boobs or the legs away hun!
Obviously we don’t know either so can’t judge but I always thought Eva seemed so warm and loving (maybe too much for Iceman Iker)… whereas Sara, although undoubtedly pretty, is quite… hard-faced.
Have you heard her speak, though? She does have a great voice for news presenting so let’s give her that! And that she makes Iker happy.
Eva looks best, she looks more relaxed and confident! Pastasauce's shoes are too big and don't really suit the dress (I have a top like her dress!!!!) and she looks uncomfortable and she always wears too much make-up, so I wonder what she looks like without?

sara's more likeable in terms of education and career for me, but that's about it. i don't think she's the most beautiful girl in the world.

No competition, Sara looks soo much better. The dress, shoes and bag are gorgeous and modern. Eva looks so plain and boring, just a big black thing draped over her. Even Sara’s hair is nicer!
eva looks gorgeous while sara is ok but having a bad make-up day.
Pasta has a cleaner, more pulled together look…. I will go with her
Eva’s look says “I don’t have to prove/flaunt anything to get attention.”
Pastasauce’s looks says “I can’t rely on my charm/grace/personality so I have to go for the cheap/tacky poptart look.”
Pastasauce dresses for the boys. Eva dresses for everyone.

Eva played it safe but looked beautiful (I prefer her make up) but I do like Sara’s dress, I just think it would look better (and classier) if it was knee length. Everyone knows you don’t do cleavage AND legs unless your names Britney Spears. So I’m giving it to Eva as she makes looking that good look effortless where as Sara looks like she’s trying just a bit too hard (and I think Eva would win hands down if they both were ‘au naturel’)
On a side note Eva must be so pee’d off. She walked away from Iker 2 years ago and has been happy with her new man since and still she cant escape him yet people still go on about it.

I like pastasauce's outift. sleek and chic. i don't dislike eva's but its too long.
Eva has always been gentle and mild , a rather pleasant creature , while Sara is pretty much in – your – face , rather rough , if not cold and slightly irritating .

I don’t know many serious journalist that do photoshoots like this one. If you want me to take you seriously and judge you on your ability to do your job then leave the photoshoots to the models and wannabes. I want to like her I really do but…….it’s doesn’t seem a smart move when you want to people to believe you got your job because of your abilities and not your looks.
I know. I've decided to like her… some. Her job title holds a certain cachet with me that'll make it easier to overlook certain things (like this: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_gMKhr-n8Fss/StIKsA4T0EI… wtf?). And I've seen some of her reporting and it's alright. Plus she's a WAG with a university degree.
I just don't like the objectifying editorials. Guys do them too, but it's different for girls(, and I just hate that). She should refrain from giving statements such as "Iker Casillas is the best goalkeeper in the world." That struck me as being wrong somehow. During the Cup it's fine. Spain and everything, but what happens when he's seriously off his game?
It makes me sad that talented women who are great at their jobs feel the need to do stuff like this. It's not just Sara, it's most women in the media/entertainment industry, it's like there talent isn't good enough. Sara's a smart girl, surely she can see that posing like this (and licking chocolate off a spoon while posing seductively at the camera) is not going to get you respect and credibility, especially in her line of work.
you call THAT seductive?? Honey get with programme, she and iker are drwn to each other based on a mutual love of awful clothes. The whole thing will end in tears as she won’t be able to make ANY statment on him, especially regarding his football without putting herself in an awkward situation and embarassing him and her employers in the long run.

if Sara isn't smiling, her lips look so severe against her cute little nose… her dress is wicked cute… and you guys nailed it when you say that Eva dresses for everyone and Sara for the boys (one boy in particular… -: ). Eva is far more elegant. She just knows how to 'be' in public… So – we all know that simple men can only take high maintenance women for so long… which one do you think is higher maintenance, Gonzo or Saucey? this may help us guage the longevity of the current situation…
