Abigail Clancy was out late last night for the UK premiere of the Michael Jackson This Is It movie. She was rocking a gorgeous sequin mini-dress which she coupled with a hefty pair of clod-hoppers.

No. Sorry. They just look like clod-hoppers. Of course, they’re ankle boots.

And – it should be said – we are usually big fans of the ankle boot.  It’s one habit we share in common with the many footy wives that have adopted booties as the footwear of choice right now.

    I just don’t like that dress. If you look carefully at the shoulder and hips areas it seems like the sequins are falling off or something… not a good visual effect…

    And speaking of boots, i just love Sylvie’s! =)

    These look like an updated version of the goth/punk/Frankenstein boots that I used to wear as a teenager in the 80’s. No way. Beautiful girl, beautiful dress, horrible trend that I hope goes away to where it came from. And fast.

    Just thrashy and not very interesting to look at. Its the sort of thing you wear to get attention (look, no bra) because its the only way to get your name in the papers.

    the ankle boots, yeah, whatever, but has anyone seen the dress? it looks like it’s been worn a 1000 times over and over! especially on the right arm and lap. awful! the fabric is really pretentious, you can’t wear it more than a few times, the sequins look horrible after you sat down for about 10 times. i expected more from mizz crouch here

    I don’t think the dress is that bad. Its very… now. Not something you could wear forever, but its very good for this season. The boots, however…

    I’m a broken record, but I will say it again. I hate boots. In all shapes, sizes, and forms.

    I think Abigal looks like something from the future, that wouls say “I come in peace”….. Also I would have chosen to wear a bra/breast tape/something to avoid the nipples showing trough dress situ…
    But that’s just me.

    Ankle boots will make you look shorter. So petite girl be wary; I find they look good with tights as I’m 5′2″. I also think you need very slim legs to pull them off.
    I think Abbey is a pretty girl but her shape in these photos looks a little tranny to me.
    this looks like something Lindsay Lohan would wear- and that’s not a good thing.

    I lvoe the ankle boots thing going on this season, but Abbey’s aren’t that nice. I don’t think peeptoe booties are very practical for British autumn/winter

    The fact, that i can easily see Abbey nipples embarasses me more, than her boots with this dress
