Style-Off: Glamour Magazine’s Women of The Year Awards

First she was crowned Glamour magazine’s best dressed celebrity in the UK, and now Cheryl Cole’s been named as their reigning Woman of the Year. With all the accolades, we almost forgot about all of those pesky dating rumours clogging up our RSS feeds!
Last night’s annual awards, or shall we say the red carpet arrivals, were rather…interesting. While each lady – Cole, Abigail Clancy (Peter Crouch’s squeeze), Christine Bleakley (of Frank Lampard fame) and Claire Merry (ex-wife of Thierry Henry) looked lovely in their own right, we’re rather underwhelmed by their choices of garments.
And damn it, Cheryl, just make up your mind already. Do you like dresses short and sassy or long and ladylike? Hair blown out and down or in a chic chignon? Let’s not make this more difficult than it really needs to be.
Kickettes, help us decide who won the red carpet WAGwear sweepstakes: Cheryl in a lacy, low cut chiffon number + Claire in a strapless sizzling red cocktail with train cut; OR rictus-mode Christine’s crinkly coral dress + Abbey in a plunging, foot-eating pants suit?
clancey looks good i think, her body is rocking! its very chic. claire merry on the other hand looks cheap…as always… whats new?

Cheryl just almost always fails to get it right. Bleakley, wont even bother commenting because I couldn't be subtle if I did. Abbey is just blah…

Abby's would have been perfect had the pant legs been tailored properly.
Everyone else – wow… just no.
I actually hate all of their outfits. And what is going on with Cheryl's hair?? I do think she's beautiful, but she can't possibly be the best dressed woman in the UK!!
And Abby is so gorgeous that she almost pulls off that pant suit…but not quite.

All the WAGs should be disqualified from the Red Carpet Sweepstakes because their outfits are either ill-fitting or inappropriate for the occasion.

Abby Clancy belongs on a dinner cruise.
Christine *Blech”ly should have bought the next size down.
And Claire Merry must have bought her dress at the Gap–because there’s too much space between the fabric and her bust and butt.

I do not get the ''style-hype'' around Cheryl. For real, she's always attending a prom rather than an event.
