Style Off: Jamie Carragher v Steven Gerrard
Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard were out last night at the premiere pre-party of 15 Minutes That Shook The World, held at Jamie’s restaurant, Cafe Sports.
Who do you think works their blazer/denim look better?
We’re going to have to go with Stevie, who has obviously taken inspiration from the newest footy fash trend, and gone velvet smooth for the occasion. We can’t deal with Carra’s pinstripes.

1:0 For Stevie, because of his clothes …
But 1:1 for Carra because of Stevens expression …
Sorry, Gee …
absolutely Stevie!!!! i love you so so so much!!!
hey! why don’t you come to Cambodia sometimes? i want to see you in real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lov3 you always! love lilly_ella. love lexie. love alex!!!

lov3 you always! love lilly_ella. love lexie. but hate alex!!!
I hate velvet…
so I am going with Carragher about the outfit
I hope this trend will quickly stop
Last week I have seen Emmanuel Petit on TV with a reddish velvet jacket, and Nasri with a black one but still, it was ugly!
Stevie is wearing unfortunate-looking jeans, but i’d still do him…
I don’t particularly like either of their outfits. But just because Stevie is Stevie, I’d give it to him.
Neither of them would be physically attractive without that thick wallet hey each have stuffed in their pocket.
Stevie for me.
He actually looks quite nice here, and I don’t normally rate him as a snappy dresser at all.
Jamie has unfortunately chosen the exact same outfit that Gordon Ramsey always seems to wear when he’s out and about. And his jacket is too big for him.
Carragher. love the jeans. he looks quite fit
jamie carraghers clothers are nice without the blazer
but stevie g is hotter i dont like carragher : /
Jamie is ‘better-styled’. But Stevi G’s hotter.
:P
Carra is just not…whatever ‘it’ is, he is not. Stevie always. x
neither, especially after hearing which premier they were going for
I go definately for Stevie, gorgeous as always honey.
neither! in all honesty, i think they need to switch jeans! nevertheless… gerrard is still my captain ;P
Definatley Steven. What the hell are Carragher’s jeans? looks like they were sandblasted and then attacked by geese. And that blazer is pretty heinous. the pinstripes are too much and the buttons stand out from a mile away…not so cute
“Attacked by geese” <– brilliant.
It’s almost like they called each other beforehand and asked what each other would wear.
My Jamie always wins!
Gotta go for Carragher, because something about Steven’s jeans is killing me.
they both look good to me – but if I had to chose one it would be Stevie
Who was in charge of the music that night?
I love the velvet blazer, but I prefer Jamie’s jeans and shoes. $tevie’s shoes would look much better with a suit than with jeans.
stevie!! stevie and a thousand more times stevie!!!!!! carra can’t dress yet he’s always on other people for ‘dressing bad’. i love him but before you call people out you must put your house in order love that’s why rafa hasn’t said anything about ferguson as yet
Stevie! Finally nice jeans on a footballer.
Carra’s blazer just doesn’t fit him well in my opinion
THATS THE ODEON I GO TO WHEN I’M IN LIVERPOOL!!!
Sorry, I was always there when I lived there, and still frequent when I go back. I will bask next time I’m there in May.
I vote Stevie in all things.
Stevie is always gorgeous. No matter what.
I adore Carra but try again love.
Poor Jaime Carragher, his outfits never quite work. I mean, that is a rather shiny blazer. I don’t know, maybe it’s the flash photography.
They both look silly
stevies jeans are too blue and the jacket isn’t pretty. Carra’s only problem is the jacket. the jeans are nice and the shirt is white…nothing much i can say about that.
i remember xabi’s “he tries hard but does not get it” when explaining why carra is the worst dressed in the team.
Now, i can see why. xabi is never wrong, is he?
yeah it came to my mind, too
Xabi is never wrong
