Style Off: WAGs At Children’s Champions

Abigail Clancy (Peter Crouch), Christine Bleakley (Frank Lampard) and Louise Redknapp (Jamie Redknapp) turned out for the Children’s Champions event last week. Which WAG worked their beige best?

We’re going to say: not Abigail. Mumsy with a side of thigh high cut-away? That’s not a combination we look for in our WAG-wear, nor in life generally. Christine Bleakley looks too formal and full-length taupe, though pretty, can be a snoozefest. We’re giving our vote to Louise Redknapp (wearing Stella McCartney Resort 2010).

Louise looks gorgeous and I like her. I also like CB’s dress, not because its nice but it looks like there’s a possibility of her tripping over it :)

  5. rois says:

louise looks the best by far.although shes not a wag!!! she used to be but shes not now.

  6. Graciela says:

Why does Abby Clancy look so dead-behind-the-eyes? And her mouth is hanging open like skeezy Megan Fox.

Whats Christine Bleakley doing under the Title ‘ WAG’.

  8. HJ says:

am I the only one absolutely lovin' Abby's dress??hel-lo! It's lovely! I like the shoes, too. but if i were to wear it, i'd close up that cut just a bit :)

I agree about Christine, its like she just says thing to get attention and she seem really fake. And she doesn't look 30, she look atleast in her late 30's, early 40's. Lamps can do alot better but I think he knows this and thats why he keeps denying her lol.

  11. Mariam says:

    i say louise too!!!!

  12. Ines del Sol says:

Louise is gorgeous, as ever <3

Please Kickette try not to mention Lady CB and Frank in one sentence. Thank you.

  13. Lamps' babe says:

Louise of course…btw how dares Christine claim that she is only 31????she looks 40,but not in a bad way,she has the experienced face of a 40y.o woman I'll never take her for someone in her 30s…run Frank, run……….to me.

Louise – Simple and Gorgeous,Jamies not bad either

Abbey is gorgeous but making herself look older and her face looks gaunt

Christine I just can't stand , I also read that interview, she says I dont want to be called a WAG and i dont like Chelsea WAGs and she wants to be left to be private, SHUT UP THEN and let sexy Frankie see what u really are

  15. Molly says:

*Not the Abby just Abby lol typing error.

  16. Molly says:

I love Louise's dress but the Abby and Christines not so really my style.

  17. senora ramos says:

i love abby’s dress, but for the event, louise hands down

OK that Christine chick’s presence in the world annoys me now. I was generally netrual on her until I read an interview with her over the weekend and now, I want to smack her. God, she came across as passive-agressive, pretentious, and hypocratical. Three things I hate.

OK rant over; I would love Abby’s dress if the slit was about 3 inches lower. So I am going with Louise

  19. Innocenza says:

Abbey: lady of the night + OB-GYN paper gown

Christine: bedazzled her toga at the frat party last Friday

    Louise: classy and simple. ftw

  20. FT9FTW says:

My vote instantly goes to Louise too!;) Very appropriate/humble attire for the occasion; no wonder she’s a mum!:D Christine’s dress IS nice, but she looks like she belongs more at the Oscars or maybe I’m still hungover from the [at-home] Oscar party with my pals.:P

  21. Linda says:

    Louise… very classy :)

    by the way – I just can't stand Christine's face… I mean – that expression… so unsympathetic.
