I agree with everything Erin said, but I like the bag. It just doesn’t go with this outfit AT ALL. THe funny part is that Daily Mail compared her to Paris Hilton when she wore this. Um… not so much.
I don't have a prob with the dress, although it is hugging her mid-section and revealing more than I want to see. She will always get points from me for bouffant free hair. The accessories, bag and shoes are a mess.
LoveLamps, I'm 5'4" and I agree with you that I would never go near this dress but I like the dress and the color just not the ruffles. I don't understand Alex's need to wear the same pair of shoes until they're good and worn out. She definitely shouldn't have paired that bag with that outfit. Oh Alex when will you learn?!

At the risk of being shot down for having no taste I have to say I actually like everything about this look except the shoes!!!
Hate the shoes-and she doesn't look color coordinated. When she's going out during night she wears too short dresses and when she's going out during day she's wearing too long dresses.Needs a balance.But at least she doesn't look like a hooker.
She's wearing those God awful snake skin shoes again. I think those are the same heels that she sported with the silver metallic looking bag last week! UUuuggghhhh!!!
WTF? The individual parts are okay (except the shoes, and that obnoxious ruffle, but together? Maybe she let her daughters pick her outfit……
Oh, Alex. When will you learn? The ruffle, the heels, the bag. I happen to love the maxi dress and we tall girls can pull it off. But the key is to keep it casual. It needs to be ruffle-free. It needs flat sandals. It needs a smaller, less gaudy bag. I give you a thumbs up for the casual ponytail, as we have discussed before. But you, my dear friend, need a stylist. Pretty girl…full of fashion don'ts.
I like the purple, but.. I'm not a big fan of ruffles or maxi dresses. Especially those with heels. The proportions of it tend to make you look shorter and stubbier. She should have gone with flats. Or gotten someone to chop the dress a bit.

Anyway, hell must have frozen over cos I think she looks great here! Would have been better with flats, but love the bag, accessories, the fresh face (im assuming under the sunnies) and the simple hair.

I enjoy the outfit from the neck up. That is about it. Her hair and glasses are nice but the rest is a big yuck!

Here we see a hybrid of the dreaded ruffle phenom and the equally dreaded muumuu. And purple. Oh dear. But her body does look in great shape under it all, so why not show it off with a cute short summer sundress? And the bag!!?? If ever an outfit called for a summery straw purse of modest proportions, it’s this one. Will we ever understand the enigma that is Alex? Do we want to???

Yeah these dresses are everywhere right now. As I’m 5’3″, I do not see myself going anywhere near one for quite some time. Alex continues her insanity. Why not wear the stripper shoes with this Alex? You are getting more like Elen Rives every day sister, and that is NOT a good thing.
