Style Files: Pride of Britain Awards

It was an interesting night for fashion, monochromatics and war-paint style maquillage last night at the Pride of Britain awards. For your viewing pleasure, we give you:
Alex Gerrard, grey-smoky eye, lashings of black liner, example of the importance in having three completely different styles of sleeve per arm so not to miss a single trend;
Carly Zucker, grey-smoky eye with intense black liner, updo consisting entirely of Aqua Net and soft brown squirrels;
The Redknapps, of exceptionally shiny shoes; and
Toni Terry with Carly Zucker: brown smoky eye and… sorry, we just can’t get past Carly’s ode to Patsy Stone. We do admire her minimal jewellery and simple but elegant clothing choices though. But, seriously: who hooked up that hair doo for Miss Z? They need to have their (back) comb and blow dryer privileges rescinded.

Who do you think came up trumps in the style stakes last night, Kickettes?
The Redknapps look gorgeous. As does Toni, as always, I love her shoes! Carly look pretty but I don’t like the hair and make up. And Alex looks god awful!
They all run the gamut from “weird” (Jamie’s trouser legs) to “WTF was she thinking” (Alex’s everything). Was there a rule about wearing only black or white? How about some colour? A shocking red or a pretty pink? I guess, if pressed, I’d say that Carly’s shoes are aight.
Thank you Alex! I’m gonna have nightmares tonight because of you!! About Carly’s hair and Toni’s shoes… Well, they were the only thing I didn’t like about their outfits. The Redknapps, as always, looked very good.
gosh. toni would've looked fab with peep toes instead of those crazy zipper shoes, and ngh, why carly, why must your hair consistently let you down?
not even going to comment on alex. i think the redknapps come out miles on top.
I hope that is not the outfit that Alex spent her B-day money on. It’s horrendous. Ms.Zucker can never do anything right in my eyes and Toni’s dress is too long for her height. So I’ll go with Jamie and Louise.They’re just such a sweet couple.
toni looks pretty good, the dress is too long for her as others have stated. carly’s hair is horrible, it seriously looks like something my grandmother wore in her high school photo back in 1940. alex looks awful. her hair looks better than usual, but the outfit just makes me gag.
The Redknapps take it out again! They're so classy. Carly's dress is okat but minus points for the hairdo. Alex just looks a mess in general and I've seen Toni look much better.
Carly’s dress is too long for her height as well…it just makes her look like a short *ss. Hon, fashion is to hide such maladies!

Mmmmmmmmmm Toni. Though a big wtf on the shoes. I'm not even commenting on Alex's outfit. Jamie and Louise look fabulous as always.
You know, I actually think Alex Gerrard looks not too bad here! And the Redknapps….very nice! But Carly and Toni? Ewwwwww……NO!!!!
Alex’s outfit is just weird. I like that its monochrome but thats about it.
Carly Z’s dress would be nice if it was a little shorter or a little longer. The mid calf lenght dwarfs her and it makes her rear look bigger than it is, in the first shot.
BTW, why does Alex always look so sweaty?

what's wrong with the length of toni's dress? we're constantly laughing @ the skankiness of some of the WAG's…I think Toni looks really classy. And Carly too…I think they wear their dresses well. Now Carly's hair? is it any different?
Are these WAGs allergic to stylists? I know they have the money to pay for them. (The Redknapps aside, they look pretty good) The thing is, there are aspects of Alex's shirt that I like, but it's all a bit much of everything. I'm sorry, but Carly's simple but elegant look… is simple but elegant from 1988. There is an updated version of that. I'm beginning to think she was transported here from the past via time machine accident and is having a hard time adjusting. Will someone please take her lifetime supply of Aqua Net away!
The redknapps always look gorgeous. And toni scrubbed up well too, its out of them two for me.
I actually like what Carly is wearing better than the others which is a rare one for me! She seemed to manage elegant with sexy adn I thought the hair do suited her too!
Alex's Dress is awful. but Carly's make up is cute!:) and Toni's dress is as same as JLO'sdress in Marc Jacob's fashion show!though her shoes are pretty!

Alex looks like she lost a bet. Carly's dress and shoes are fine, if a bit boring, but the hair and makeup fail her miserably, per usual. WTF is with Toni? Why does she insist on wearing hair and make-up that age her by twenty years? She looks like Linda Evans from Dynasty. The shoes…a match made in hell.

Fantastic rebound from the bra incident Louise. Well Done baby well done. Jamie, go him it is hard to screw-up a suit but he has known to in the past. I sware what the hell went wrong in the Redknapp/Lampard family? Toni: 95% perfection and 5% are totally the wrong shoes for the dress. Trade shoes with Carly and you would be perfect. Carly's dress can handle the more adventurous shoes, your's in white can't.
Alex Gerrard's dress is by far the ugliest thing I have ever seen. I have to give the "best dressed" out of these four to Carly Zucker, as bad as it pains me to.

I don’t know why Alex would be considered the pride of anything. That high neck just accentuates her enormous and disproportionate head. I think Toni looks the best, but it’s time to retire that Roland Mouret dress that everyone and their grandmother has been photographed in.
