Style Off: Samir Nasri v Jamie Carragher

Who works the dark denim with v-neck jumper and trainers look better:

Arsenal’s Samir Nasri, seen exiting Sketch bar after the joint end of season/Manuel Almunia birthday shindig?

Or Jamie Carragher, out on the streets near his Cafe Sports Bar, where Liverpool toasted their season?

    defo Samir Nasri ;)

  2. Me says:

And eh, Carragher looks like a farmer!

  3. MrsMichaelOwen says:

    JAMIE :D

  4. Me says:

Wow, Samir Nasri! Love you! I'm not over my mind, but you are 1000 times better than carra!! No doubt!!

  5. reggie_br says:

    Undoubtedly Nasri.

  6. Eternal Dreamer says:

In this case, I think Nasri. Carragher looks too much of a man's man trying to pull off a printed tee and ugly cardigan. Not good. Despite the shininess, Nasri's cardi combo him better than Carragher's.

  7. Lucy says:

Samir, The Ramos called – he wants his sweater back

  9. Rebecca says:

Samir, although Jamie’s shoes are better.

  10. Becca says:

Men in cardigans steal my heart. Therefore, Jamie. I Would marry that man !!!!

  11. Kahtilyn13 says:

Samir Nasri. Hands down. Jamie Carragher looks like he needs a shower. The color of his sweater just makes his complexion worse. He needs a better color.

  13. kenita says:

carra, i love men in cardigans

  14. glamour.pixie says:

    Samirrr! but with Carra’s shoes…

  15. Erin says:

Definitely Carra! Yes, I'm biased, but even so I'm not digging a the shiny sweater and odd bowling shoes on Nasri.

  16. rohan says:

i’m not digging the shine on samir but i think the striped cardigan (leaving one unbottoned) and the inner printed tee is way too busy. so definitely samir. why is he wearing a ring? he’s too young to be married or engaged!

  17. Celine says:

i think samir looks better! carragher looks old whereas samir nasri looks cute, remember when he just arrived at Arsenal ??? the hair has improved so so much!!

  18. Susie says:

Samir Nasry looks very cute in that pic, though Im not crazy about his “bowling” style trainers.

Where as, Carragher looks like he exhumed the body of someone’s grandfather and stole his cardigan.

    Not good.

  19. Karina says:

No way! Samir looks way better.

  20. nikki says:

who else but my carra … I love Liverpol fc !

  21. misslfcx says:

    Carragher wins hands down

  22. Forever Torres says:

Samir but with a different coloured jumper.

  23. IshYEAH. says:

Carra, but I do love Nasri!! The Ramos will want his over-priced looking sweater and essentials back!

  24. roozw says:

    Suprisingly.. Nasri!

  25. Barcelinha says:

Jamie looks good, but Samir is not that sleazy looking anymore…

  26. Jelly says:

Samir looks nice. I never really noticed until now.

  27. mrs carragher says:

    My God, Jamie looks gorgeous

  28. mrscudicini says:

I have to agree with the sentiment on the ballers in knitwear, seriously, first the Ramos and now…these…no. I must put my foot down. NO. (Thank god it is summer and they will hopefully switch the cardigans for the shirtless joy that is ballers on the beach.)

  29. Moonie says:

Hmmm Im usually a big fan of ballers in knitwear but neither of these two are really doing it for me. Nasri is looking way too beige and shiny and Carra appears to have been raiding his Grandad's wardrobe. I think I'll have to pass on this one.

  30. autumnmaple101 says:

Nasri…stripes just dont look too great on Carra

  31. aristeia says:

I cannot deny my bias, however the cut of Samir's jeans aren't right for him and that sweater is awful. His shoes, like TFO said, have potential though. Carra looks great, my only qualm would be I wish he wore a different cardigan. Actually, from that group of pics I thought Dirk was the best dressed. He looked sharp.

  32. carly says:

    I'd rather not, thanks.

  33. FootballerChick43 - says:

Am going for Carragher. Because I'm a sucker for a cardigan and Converse.

  34. Maryam "Mrs Z Ibra" says:

I don’t know why, but Samir is working it better for me. :)

  35. talithaxoxo says:

  36. imhereforthenando says:

Jamie Carragher has put all men who will ever wear jeans to shame.

  37. Meer. says:

I’m gonna say Jamie on this one, but only because of the denims & shoes. Samir, however, gave his outfit way more thought. It just didn’t quite work for me. But give the boy some credit for his efforts!

  38. Lola says:

Oh dear, I’m not sure either of these are very good, but I think Carra is better.

  39. The Fourth Official says:

I like Carragher’s jeans. The cardi, not so much. I sort of like Samir’s shoes, but not his jeans or the shiny knitwear.

  40. mrs carragher says:

OMG! jamie looks GORGEOUS! love him so much

  41. LizB (Mrs. Vucinic) says:

If that sweater of Nasri’s wasn’t shiny I would say him… he cutely color coordinated his sweater and shoes! Which I’m sadly amused by. He tried, he really did. And the expression on his face is so cute. Weird.

I like Carra’s jeans, but not his cardigan and DEFINITELY not the graphic tee on underneath.

  42. Dani.Mrs José Manuel Reina (PLQ) says:

ermm i have to go with Carra !

  43. striker says:

Nasri. But I don’t like his shoes. I’m not digging Carra’s stripes and his shoes are so white I think I need to put my sunglasses on.

  44. Genevieve Gourcuff says:

    Definitely Samir

  45. Emily (Giggsy's Gal) says:

Waist down — Carragher. Waist up — neither.

  46. carly says:

    I’d rather not, thanks.
