Style Off: The Terrys v The Coles
Unlike Elen Rives and Frank Lampard, some of the other footballer couples made somewhat of an effort at the White Room fundraiser. We bring you Ashley and Cheryl Cole and John and Toni Terry.
Ashley appears to be wearing polished trousers which possibly double as something he can wrap his leftovers from dinner in at the end of the night; Cheryl looks beautiful as always, but her barnet is beginning to take on a wig-like look. Still, they obviously spent more than four minutes getting ready.
John? Well, aside from the giant canoe feet (see below), we like the all-black look on him; Toni is a healthy shade of tangerine but rather non-descript outside of the peppy shoes. She seems as if she had planned on spending the night in front of the telly with a cuppa and had to whip her bunny slippers off at the last minute when John came downstairs cologned up and ready to roll.
So who wins the style off between these two couples, fellow Kickettes? We’re going with Ashley and Cheryl – they look a bit more put together than the Terrys. Plus, surely those two are much more high maintenance -can’t you picture the two of them fighting for mirror space whilst primping to the latest Girls Aloud single?

ashleys pants are soo load and cheryls out fit is well… to glitzy( 2 out it nicely lol) toni looks great—she looks normal—john looks good aswell… toni doesnt look orange she looks healthy
I LOVE Joe Cannon, serious in the diaster that was this season he was the bright and pretty spot.

tammy- I watched my first Galaxy game because of Beckham and come to think of it, I don’t think it was the one he played in <img src="http://www.kickette.com/images/smileys/wink.gif" width="19" height="19" alt="wink" style="border:0;" /> but I kept watching because of Cannon. I love to see him yell at the other players when he’s had to make some crazy save because one of them was not doing his job. All keepers do it I think, but he’s especially compelling. I think I’d try to piss him off just to see that side of him more often. So commanding…grrrrr…
I did get caught up in the whirl of the playoffs since the way MLS is set up you can be crap all year and then still make it. That team did find some inspiration from somewhere though, whether it was DB or not, but I swear they played better without him in the weeks leading up to the finals. That game in which Chris Klein got that overhead goal was surely one of the best games I’ve seen. His complete awe at having done it was endearing. Those are the moments I live for in football. Well, those along with JT and Lamps hugging, which I really *need* to see some more of pretty soon!

Ah yes, I have heard of that one. That was probably the best moment of his life. He’s pretty serious about the footie thing.
Now if only we could find video of John and Frank in the bath (together…gulp!!!) I may not leave my apartment for days!
Petr Cech is pretty fine. Perhaps Kickette should devote a post to fine goal keepers. They’re so big and . . . well, just *big*. <img src="http://www.kickette.com/images/smileys/grin.gif" width="19" height="19" alt="grin" style="border:0;" /> Craig Gordon, for example, makes my heart wobble a bit.
‘personal trophy’- that is priceless! And from what I’ve seen of Frank’s ‘exciting moments’ in football, it’s quite the trophy. In fact, I love your whole post, tammy- it was only 3 lines yet it included Chelsea, JT, Lamps, naked (twice), Cech, ass, and shower. Now those are some fine building blocks for any post.
It’s only recently I’ve been noticing that Cech is rather nice to look at. I also like to look at ‘Big Joe’ Cannon, the Galaxy keeper.
JT and Toni definitely win this one. They look fantastic! John in all black is a very good thing. And Toni is rocking those curves!

So which Sean Bean film would this be? I’ve met the man twice before (okay twice in one night, but it still counts as 2!)but have never seen him in the bath, which I’m sure would be worth checking out. (I almost said ‘worth looking into’! LOL No doubt!)

Do footballers still jump in the big communal bath after a match???? I think I saw that in an Sean Bean film once. Imagine all our pretty boys in a big bath together. Ai caramba!!!
Seriously, what is that shiny monstrousity that Cashley’s wife has on? I think she broke into Frank’s house and stole Elen’s outfit for the night, which is why we were graced with dirty jeans from the ever so stylish *rollseyes* Ms. Rives.
And Kickette, your description of Toni all in her bunny slippers and slipping into something at the last minute is precisely why I love her so much. Not all out and about in the spotlight, unlike some other *coughs* WAGs we know. I think she looks gorgeous and simple and classy, if a bit orange. Eh well, you can’t have it all.
Both men look absolutely *YUMMY*. (Can we pick *them* as the cutest couple?) Cheryl needs to change up the hair style – maybe grow the bangs (fringe) out and add some layers in her cut. I like the black hose on her, but I’m not sure what’s going on with the dress.
Ok, Toni dear, put down the fake tanner, it’s November already. I’m with Ally. Time to add some hose to the ensemble, and would a pretty necklace and a nice pashmina hurt? And yes, I think it’s Frank in the background – his white trainers are glowing in the dark. 
All in all, it’s the Coles.
You know, in all my hours of JT watching and worshipping, I’ve never noticed the size of his…feet! But yeah, I’m gonna say there could be some ‘relational sizing’ in his case, Paris!
And to The Fourth Official- I always think of John and Frank as the perfect couple. In fact I probably think about it way too much.
Has to be the Cole’s I actually dont mind ashley’s trousers and I love Cheryls dress they look great together. The terry’s look cute, and you know what they say about men with big feet it’s not technically a bad thing

That’s hilarious. How does Toni have shopping bags at a red carpet gala?! I don’t understand… is there a Top Shop next door she popped in to real quick?!
But really? Toni’s dress not skanky? It looks like a skanky amount of cleavage to me. Less obvious would have been sexier – and classier. And is that cotton mesh? She is fabu from the ankle down.

I cannot take my eyes off of Toni’s um, assets.
Damn those oranges/grapefruits (see what I did there?) are right in my face. I wonder where I would have looked if I’d been talking to her that evening. Or if she’d bent over to pick up a nibble.
I PREFER Ash and Cheryl as a couple, but when it comes to the outfits this go round? Has to be the Terrys much as it hurts me to say that.
BTW – what’s up with all the black? There are other colors that can be worn in the fall.
The Coles totally win. I adore Cheryl’s dress, and she really is gorgeous. I can’t possibly fathom why John Terry’s wife is wearing a summer dress with no stockings and no jacket in November, nor why she is orange. Not stylish at all.
I’m not bothered about Ashley’s shiny black trousers (although they do look *very* expensive).
I am really not interested in his stupid girlfriend’s haircut (although it is very nice).
What I really need to know is when will Ashley Cole be fit again to take the field for England and Chelski.

The Terry’s win; no question. I hate shiny cloths (see my constient Lamps lement) to beging with and Cheryl is sporting a god-awful dress with sequines and leather belt. HUH? I think we found the dress Elen was supposed to wear.
Toni looks fantastic (minus the radio-active hazmat wear shade of orange she is). I WANT THE DRESS AND SHOES, NO I NEED THEM.. I MUST HAVE THEM.. Classic, sexy, form-fitting yet not skanky LDB. Never out of style, never inappropriate.. The shoes are adorible!
