The Call: Darren Bent Needs You
Okay, Kickettes. It looks like the soldier girls have officially been called to action.
As we mentioned yesterday, Sunderland’s Darren Bent is in a Twitter battle with boxer Tony Jeffries to see who can get to 10,000 followers first.
Although Tony dealt the first move by asking us directly on twitter to support his cause, Darren has taken things up a notch.
We’re still in negotiations with Darren, but he is up for some sort of Kickette-specific goal celebration the next time he nets one – and judging by his recent form, this shouldn’t be a long wait.
Before you ask, we told Darren we would pledge our undying support to his cause if he would provide us a changing room snap shot of our fav Sunderland finery: Kenwynne Jones. Sadly, Darren declined this request.
But never mind – let’s get on this Kickettes: please, if you haven’t already – click over and follow Darren on Twitter. His user name there is @DBTheTruth.
Tell a friend, and have them tell their friends and so on. Let’s get this Kickette goal celebration started.
Or, maybe we can get DB to reconsider that hidden camera footage after all. Thanks all!
