The Dress-down: Toni Terry and Abigail Clancy
BFFs Toni Terry (John Terry) and Abigail Clancy (Peter Crouch) hit up the England v Belarus game at Wembley last night. As you can see, they went for the smart-casual look.
Normally, we take great delight in seeing WAGs over-dress for events like football matches. Victoria Beckham has forged a wonderful reputation for being insanely OTT in attire to go and watch a game – and we fully support this.
After all, the players’ lounge is not for lounging. Good God, no – it’s for posing and intimidating via superior designer-wear.
However, in this case, we applaud Toni and Abigail for keeping it low-key. They look like they might actually be going to watch a football game, not blitz the VIP section at Movida.
Except… for one minor detail: their fashion choices kind of suck.
They look at least 1/3 less gorgeous than they actually are. Toni’s jeans/jumper seem strangely are ill-fitting and don’t get us started on Abigail’s scarf.
We love ‘em, but today, we will be supporting from the other side of the retail establishment from whence they came.
I want Abbey her scarf, so lovely..! Awesome…
i think they both look beautiful. Understated, classy dressing which is appropriate for a football game.

I actually like Abbey's scarf, adds a splash of colour to her whole look. Can't say the same for Toni though.
Regardless of their questionable sartorial choices, Toni and Abi look really happy, and that’s a look that the ultra-fashionable VB hasn’t pulled off since she and Becks appeared on the Ali G show!!!

i love this pairing; they're so cute! usually, i dislike brit wags, but i like these two. lol. but toni has gotten a bit out of hand lately…i like her look more when she's with her kids and her pre-mum days.
the scarf ain’t all it’s cracked up to be. it’s pulls very easily.

I really like Toni and am usually on board with her fashion choices, but this time not so much. Her jeans and her jacket look too small, and with the dark hair now, she really needed a bit of colour somewhere. I do the all black thing myself, but I’m blonde. She could have thrown on a neutral scarf, maybe grey or something. And Abbey is beautiful as always, but those jeans are very bad. They make her look like she has big thighs and we all know she doesn’t. Aside from the general trashing of their fashion choices, though, I love the fact that they went to the football game looking like they were going to watch a football game and perhaps hang out with their men afterward. They could have traded the heels for some real boots, and that would have been even better. But whatever…I think they’re fab anyway.
Not keen of Abbey’s jeans. I prefer darker denims but …if anyone can wear pale denims and *still* look good, Abbey is it!
I hate Abbey’s jeans. Point blank. They should be burnt. I think Toni would have looked a lot better if she would have worn some sort of t-shirt rather than a sweater.
And can someone please burn all pairs of open-toed ankle boots in existence? Thanks.

How old is Toni? She looks to me to be about mid 30′s to 40. Am I close?
Toni definitely needs more colour in the outfit. I have that hair colour and when you've been stuck with it your entire life, you learn you always need a little colour in an outfit. But she looks cute and warm.
LOVE Abbey's scarf! Not entirely sure what's going on with her open-toed boots… all signs point to it having been a cold night so wagwan with that?
We've neglected to point out the thing they're sporting that no other WAG seems to when being photographed- SMILES!
I have to disagree. Both of them look wonderful, beautiful in a very natural way… and the clothes are nice, too. They should do this more often!
