Once infamous for declaring his hope that FC Barcelona would be “a tool to promote the Catalan language and culture,” we wonder how we can say “old man who is 8 sheets to the wind from French Champagne” in his native tongue?

Sorry Kickettes, I know I shouldn't spread negative energy, but I cannot forget his gloating after last season's CL semis. He said it was "poetic justice".

I agree. There was no justice of any kind in that game. Barcelona should have shown some class and kept their mouths shut.
Exactly, but it would be difficult for them since they have NO CLASS at all. Speaking of which, another example. One of their players, Abidal, was happy and didn't see anything wrong with use of lasers at Real Madrid players. He said this during his press conference. Disgraceful.
Actually, Abidal said that Barca players are too fast to point them with a laser.
And please, it was only 1:0. One lousy off-side goal from Zlatan and they all behaving like the won La Liga.

1. It was El Clasico, its a huge and important game and bragging rights are the only immediate prize because there's a long way to go to win LaLiga and you don't have to tell the current Spanish Champions that. As if Real Madrid players would be so humble, please!
2. Laporta can party what ever way he wants. He's not breaking any laws. He's been the president of Barcelona during a long successful term and he's due to step down with respect. Also, because Zlatan scored the goal it relieves pressure on his end because a lot of people were questioning his decision to sell Eto'o. Plus other things that are related to running a club like Barca Its a huge achievement for all who are involved. Basically he, the players, fans can party for any reason and enjoy their victories. Its part of the joy of the game, no one is going to apologize for winning.
3. If one didn't blame the loss due to the alleged use of a laser, or the ref, or an offside goal, or a missed penalty, or the earths gravity, or martians from a distant galaxy some would find some other reason to deflect. It happens, yes its not fair sometimes but its up to so many factors that aren't Barca's or the players fault.
Chelsea and Madrid fans should be proud. Chelsea have reached a final and semi-final two years in a row. Madrid have a remarkable team.
