If he, the CAPTAIN of the U.S. NT had been on more magazine covers this spring and summer maybe soccer/football would gain more popularity. I don't follow US soccer but I never understood why Landon Donovan got all the interviews and publicity. I mean I kind of understood Why, just kind of got tired of only seeing him.
Whereas Carlos would be a great "face" for US soccer, Landon is seen as the "Name brand". I do agree with you though.
