The Midweek Mmm: Iker Casillas For GQ España
As we previously mentioned, Iker Casillas is featured in the October issue of GQ Espana, which was first teased in this Reebok video posted on the mag’s site two days ago. Well, thanks to some pulling of a few strings and public pleading, we finally got our hands on one of Steven Klein’s exclusive shots from those fine Spanish folks. And boy did they pick a good one to send us.
Side note: its moments like these that make us stop and think. Until now, we never really understood just how vast and equally vapid our readership was. To know that some, if not all of you are willing to put yourselves and your jobs at risk in the name of sharing some GQMF Iker goodness actually brings tears to our dry eyes.

I like this photo. Yes, I prefer him au natural, and yet, and yet, and yet…..this is hot too…..like an evil twin.
Is it me or does he look like he's wearing frosted pink lipgloss? All he needs is some blue eyeshadow. What the hell did they do to him. He looks so not natural and photoshopped. His charm is his boy next door look. Why change what works?

Second: Why is everyone bitching about the styling? Look at the eyes. That's something you don't see every day on your average, nice and professional Iker. That's pure and raw, an animal trying to break free.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who prefers my Iker to come served au natural, not with a ridiculous tan, a bad fringe and make up.

Ok ladies. I know I'm gonna get the thumbs down for saying this and I'm cool with that. I don't find this particular pic of the lovely Iker to be all that flattering. He is a gorgeous man to be sure, but it could have been better. He looks like the creepy guy at a club who is watching to see just how drunk you will end up being by the end of the night.

How photoshopped that picture is? don´t take me wrong I love him but his skin tone is not that tanned!
I don't like my Iker like this… most of the shots are all just a bit over-stylized and he looks downright ridiculous in some. The oddly tight and mid-thigh level shorts come to mind. I can just imagine Marcelo or Pepe papering the RM locker-room with these images and the whole team taking the piss.
Iker is incredibly beautiful but these are just not all that hot. They are lovely photos (aside from some of the clothes and over-usage of makeup) but it just feels awkward.
He really is best in some luminous RM kit yelling away at the defense, pointing, gesturing, posing, and making kickass saves. That's when Iker is at his finest… well it'd be better if he did away with the base layers but still.
Obviously I love my scruffy, dorky, alabaster capitan as he usually is, but I would be lying to myself if I said every single photo in this shoot didn't turn me on. Not all the time, but it's fun to see a different side to him

oh my! ive been praying to Iker that these pictures would come into my life in HQ. I totally agree that he looks hot when shouting at the Real defence, but then he looks hot in a suit, in swimshorts, in bright yellow Real kit. Hell, i was lucky enough to see him in his birthday suit, im sure he'd look hot in that too. (as a side note, this picture screams homoerotic to me! i think it might be the pink lipstick on his lips)

These pictures, looked hot, I won't denied it, but I actually prefer iker in his real Madrid crest wearing his banana-suit screaming at his defenders to take good postion, or when he gives me the " I can't believe I have to put up with this defense" look!

I don't mean to be a jerk, but it's hardly an exclusive shot – it's been all over the blogs and LJ communities for 2 days now. You didn't need to pull any strings, just have a look around at a couple of other sites and you would have seen it.
Have clarified that Steven Klein exclusively shot Iker for GQ. But pulled strings with their PR offices we did. Cheers!
can you give me the names of these sites …?!
There's a large difference between scanning and posting or screencapping from GQ and posting and actually getting large format, high quality pictures directly from the publication. The latter is legal, whereas the other two are a bit iffy and generally result in pictures that aren't as nice anyway. I'm sure that's what they meant by exclusive, that they'd actually done the work to get the picture rights from the photographer (and or GQ).
