As a male football observer who is constantly trying to get my female friends involved in the game (it’s still fairly small in Australia!) I must admit to using certain “attractive” players as drawcards.
As an Arsenal fan I’ve utilised the likes Cesc, Ramsey, Vermaelen and Abou Diaby (heh!) to get certain females interested and I have to also admit to recently using one Roque Santa Cruz. In fact, I think I referred to him as “The Most Attractive Man in World Football” and not too many people disagreed.
