Bearing in mind that he’s currently the most expensive player in the history of English football, it’s not really surprising that Fernando Torres’ signing for Chelsea on transfer deadline day was big news. So big, in fact, that Chelsea’s other last minute signing, Benfica defender David Luiz, went largely unnoticed.
Not any more. While Torres has struggled to make an impact for his new club, Luiz has caught the eye, his robust technique and attacking prowess culminating in a superb goal for his side against Manchester United on Tuesday. The thing about David Luiz is not really his looks, but his charm! If he you watch his interview and videos you'll end up loving him because he's so sweet, funny, adorable and he has such a lovely and bright personality.
He's great player who is really aggressive when he needs to be. Chelsea has definitely benefited from him being on the team. And yes, I'd do him. The hair is a bonus. Ladies need something the hold on to.

David Luiz is pretty cute (and such fun to watch on the pitch). Though I'm in awe of his hair (I've never seen curls move like that), I think a shorter 'do may up the hot factor. On the subject of hair … can we please discuss the recent happenings on the heads of both Florent Malouda and Glen Johnson, both of whom have received recent trims?
I never thought I'd go for the Sideshow Bob type, but Luiz does have something about him. Of course, as a Liverpool supporter I have to say, I think he'd look much better in Red.

Well Shame is palying for Chelsea, I feel bad that He had the chance to join Real Madrid but He stayed half season at Benfica and went to Chelsea? It's just wrong! I was watching the Chelsea vs. Manchester United game on tv and all I could notice was that hot number.. 4! He has great hair, the body is amazing and he has nice big juicy lips… mmmm During my google stalking I saw that he was from Brazil which produces some of the sexiest men alive! And i love to listen to Portueguese.. how is his english though? Regardless I sure hope kickette keeps up with him <3

I noticed him in all of his sideshow bob hair glory BEFORE HE EVEN STEPPED ONTO THE PITCH. He was sitting on the sidelines and i called him "Sideshow Bob Hair Guy" (Original. Or so I thought at the moment). Now everyone's all over him. I can't have anyone to myself for even one month.
I would. he does look, especially in the main pic, freakishly like Sideshow Bob, but i can get over it. And apparently, according the the guardian football podcast (anyone?), luiz has said in the past that he likes looking like Sideshow Bob..he seems like a genuinely nice guy. And he looks better in action than in pictures…on the pitch i mean, not in my head….

I could be wrong but I believe his hair is "mixed" and not a perm. It reminds me a lot of my daughers hair which is part black/part white. If she didn't get hers chemicaly straightened it would look like that.
So it will never look like Puyi's. Using products for "black" hair may help but the texture of the hair is very different so he'd not have hair that would look like mine with a perm. tho. As for a cut, it would probably need to be short (think Nani) for it to be more manageable. Hair aside, he's not my type, as far a looks go.
As for the player, fantastic signing by Chelsea and he's still young in football years. Should have a great career in front of him.
Thanks for explaining.. I'm not sure of the racial demographic in Brazil but I know that most people are white then there are blacks and i assume there are mixed people. I've seen pictures of him with his hair short and I have to say that he looks better with the curles.. I don't know why people are being so mean to him.
He looks great with longer hair and I don't know much about mixed or black hair (even though I am black with non-straight hair) so I dont know what he does with it.. he might be able to get away with using "white products" but I think his curles are naturally that way and he just combs his hair.. Puyol's hair seems as if he uses curlers which I think is kinda strainge.
