Unfortunately MUTV on Setanta showed the kids playing so fingers crossed later editions this week show something of the tribute.

As far as looks, I adore Gary Neville, and always have, and was quite sad when he married Emma. TFO, thank you for breaking down the list, so I don’t have to. Wouldn’t kick most of the Devils out of my bed.

Missed the game cos was at work, but glad everyone respected the tribute. Nice to see.
Ballack did come the closest to scoring, and I’m sure he’s still regretting that one. It was a frustrating 90 minutes, really. The midfield was such a crowded jumble, it seemed like there were 44 players on the pitch instead of 22. Belletti’s performance was the only really enjoyable thing in it for me. Frank was back- so lovely to see him – but it seemed he only got one chance on the ball and was swarmed by red shirts. It just seemed he couldn’t make anything happen. (And of course Capello was watching. Ugh.) So I’m really disappointed we didn’t take those 3 points. But my sad mood for most of the evening had more to do with Man United losing. I am certainly no ManU fan, but it just seems so wrong that of all their games, they lost this one. But I can only imagine the kind of pressure they felt and how emotionally drained they all probably were, given the buildup all week long. I really wish they’d won. TFO- You must be gutted.
I just watched the build-up and then the tribute before the game and i can honestly say that it brought tears to my eyes. It was really nicely done and I am so glad that the fans respected it, unlike some prats from the game at Wembley.
All round, it has been the best tribute.
NOw, for this ugly Man U thing – they are so not the ugliest team, but neither are Liverpool – in fact, I have to say that the ugliest teams in the Premiership are Arsenal, Bolton and Newcastle. Sure they do have some cute players but really, one Cesc can’t make up for a Sagna.
p.s. Ohhhhhh Wes Brown’s playing and he still looks hot, but what the hell is up with his hair?!?!

As a former Man Utd fan, I didn’t watch this game. I caught only 40 minutes game time of the Chelsea-Liverpool game, which I wanted to watch, and I missed the end – I was out to lunch with my parents. My mother said Ballack was going to score the minute we left, and I haven’t checked yet.

i agree with toni u seriously need ur eyes testing if u think wes brown is rio ferdinand. Also just bcoz their ugly, or whateva, it duznt mean their bad players. its not always about looks its about talent. And if u think Man Uniteds team is ugly i think u need to go take a look at Arsenals an Liverpools.

Man Utd looked emotionally overwhelmed, and seemed out of sorts today. Man City deserved their win and thank you to City fans for respecting the silence today. The sight of nearly 75,000 scarves raised at the minutes silence was one of the most moving sights I’ve seen at a football game.

I don’t know if they are the ugliest team in the history of football – seems a bit of an overstatement. Tevez – yes, definitely ugly. Hargreaves//Evra/Brown/Anderson/O’Shea are all nice looking guys. Vidic is majorly hot. <sizzle> Rio is ugly-hot. Nani, Fletcher, Carrick and Rooney are, I agree, on the plain side. Saha does nothing for me, he’s just a waste of space at the moment. Park has his admirers. EVDS is a handsome man. And there’s Cristiano, in a class by himself. The reserves have some junior hotties: Eagles and Simpson. So, on balance, probably the same hottie ratio as most other teams.
