The Sizzle Query: Luis or Roque?
We’re feeling rather uninspired today, dear readers.
And rather than turn to our favourite WAGs for fashion blunders, designer disasters and/or adventures in alcoholic merriment in order to pass the time, we’ve decided to return to the real reason we are all here in the first place: the players.
Or more specifically, our complete and total objectification of the players.
So on that note, let’s compare the sizzle factor between Atletico Madrid’s Luis Garcia and Blackburn’s Roque Santa Cruz. Take your time, don’t rush to judgment. And when you’re ready, let us know who you think comes out on top.
We call Roque. He might just have the coolest name in football as well as being rather easy on the eyes, yes? Plus, he’s 6’2, and you know we like ‘em tall.
His first season in the Premier League was a great success as he formed an effective partnership with Benni McCarthy and scored nineteen goals.

I’m so glad you guys cleared up this was the Luis Garcia from Atletico Madrid because I was reading an article about the Luis Garcia who plays for Espanyol. I was looking at those photos of Espanyol Luis thinking “wait, what happened to his tan?“ lol

They are both adorable boys. And while I do love Luis Garcia (especially like how he sucks his thumb after he scores a goal—am I the only one who’s noticed this?), I am going to have to go for Roque. I’m a pretty tall girl, and so I always go for the tall boys over the short ones. I would make an exception for Cesc, love of my life that he is, but in general, taller is better. And 6’2” is a perfect height for me.

As for the men at hand, Roques wins this hands down.
Jeez, this is a hard one. Since I’m a United fan, I’m not really one of Luis’ biggest fans. HOWEVER, he has a nice face, but I’m going for Roque, simply cause he has a nice body. I agree with Robin, Luis’ head and Roque’s body is a very nice combo.

I’m off to a Liverpool bar so I won’t be able to comparison shop, but Torres is coming back from both injury and a few moments of dazed and confused managing where Rafa failed to start him when healthy. So El Nino will need my full focus and support anyway, as always.

I watch a lot of EPL, no matter who is playing, and I’ve caught the last few Blackburn games during which I couldn’t help but notice the man with the coolest name in football. I’ve been leaning towards liking them, but I just can’t do it. I’ve hated them since a game with Chelsea in 2005 (I’ve been known to hold a grudge) in which Dickov- what a name…loser…kicked Cech in the chest after he blocked his penalty shot and then tried to mess with JT a couple of times. They were like a bunch of thugs that whole game. I just can’t forget it. Maybe one day…but it will take more than Roque I’m afraid.
