The TTO: Mladen Petric v Philipp Lahm
It’s our second in the Euro 2008 Thursday Thigh Off series, and this week we look to Group B for some action.
For your quadly consideration, please observe Croatia’s Mladen Petric (he of the dirty hot variety);
vs Germany’s Philipp Lahm (of the baby-faced cute variety).
Both are in action today in the Croatia / Germany game – but we know the true victory that matters is right here, man to man, thigh to thigh.

Congrats to last week’s Group C winner, the incomparable Luca Toni, who comfortably beat the lush Adrian Mutu. Poor Mr. Mutu now has to bear the tragic loss of the Thigh Off, and the wallet crunch of owing Chelsea 80 squillion quid at the same time. Chin up, hon – you’ve still got your looks.

Ooh Kickette this one was tough. Out of the first two pics Petric was better but I changed my mind to Lahm in the second two. Overall though I’m going with PETRIC for the yummy skin tone
I don’t know for this one, I’m not particularly impressed by either. I think I’ll go with the Croatian dude – I’ve already forgotten his name!

Well, I should stand by the “ic” factor theory. However, Lahm does show excellent thigh. And the Germans lost today (snicker snicker). So, I’ll give my vote to Lahm to make him feel better.

CARLY I HOPE CROATIA WON’T HAVE TO PLAY PORTUGAL BUT FOR SOME STRANGE REASON CROATIAN TEAM PLAYS BETTER AGAINST BIG TEAMS.I THINK THAT PORTUGAL CAN BEAT GERMANY BUT IT’S NOT 100%SHORE THAT GERMANY WILL QUALIFY(BUT THEY WILL PROBABLY BEAT AUSTRIA).
Mladen has my vote for the thighs but he doesn’t get my vote for being dirty hot. He is just a nottie all around for me.

My poor Mutu. Has he angered the gods?! First he loses his Finest 5 spot to Frank, he of rodent face, loses the thigh off to a goofy looking Italian (come on ladies, of all the Italian hotness you’ve all seemed to fall for the weird-looking one!) and now the pocket book. Ouch. Should he be on suicide watch or something? No vote for me on this TTO – I find them both unattractive.
I’m voting for Lahm, mostly because you can actually SEE more of his thighs than Petric’s in these photos. Although I’d like to submit a write-in vote for the delicious left thigh of #9 in the red shirt who’s challenging Lahm for the ball in Photo No. 2. Any idea as to the name of that guy, Ms. Kickette?

Mladen only recently popped up on my radar due to some article linking him with United, which I now sadly believe to be B.S.

After a thorough examination of all the pictures my vote is going to Petric. Of course my decision has nothing to do with that match earlier. I’m so happy that Luca won last week…lets hope he puts those thighs to good use tomorrow.
