The Weekend Wedding Extravaganza: A Stalker’s Guide
It’s here, good people. The WAG Weekend Wedding Extravaganza.
It’s all our Christmases, New Years, Birthdays and Hen Nights in one. Four ballers and four faux tan bimbettes/babes and etcs exchanging vows and getting drunk whilst wearing couture and/or Zara knockoffs. Is there anything better?
OK! and Hello magazines have been in a bidding frenzy for the million pound photographic rights to all weddings, with Gary Neville rumoured to have been given the biggest offer.
Which wedding to stalk? This is tricky. Coleen McLoughlin and Wayne Rooney will be using a helicopter so they can hit all three parties on Saturday. We’d advise doing the same.
Alex Curran and Steven Gerrard are high on our the hit list – she’s guaranteed to be WAGtastically done up, but the level of blingtastic opulence remains to be seen. Reports are circulating the food will be bacon buttys and fish and chips. But don’t despair, daughters Lilly and Lexie will be wearing minature versions of Alex’s dress. They’re getting married at Cliveden House in Berkshire and they’ve booked spa services for the hangover recovery afterwards. Michael and Louise Owen will be there, and Tottenham’s Danny Murphy is best man.
If anyone cares, Michael Carrick’s wedding will be held at St Peter’s, Wymondham, with the reception at the stately home, Stapleford Hall, and they’re planning on spending £250,000 on the affair. Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy have RSVPd to this one, and Lisa Roughead gets buck wild when she’s had a drink, so this could be the place to be. Plus she’ll be wearing LaCroix. Joe Cole and new fiance Carly Zucker will be there too.
Gary Neville should have had the trump card for the wedding of the weekend – David Beckham was scheduled to make an appearance as Neville’s best man (returning the favour from Gary’s role back in the day when Posh and Becks tied the knot), but he’s on duty for Real Madrid. In terms of other footy A-Listers, Wayne Rooney and Coleen McLoughlin are expected, as are Rio Ferdinand, Sol Campbell and Ryan Giggs. Victoria Beckham may make an appearance.
Ashley and Cheryl Cole arrive at John Terry’s wedding today.
