Thoughts & Prayers: Paul & Hayley Gallagher
Image: http://hayleygallagher.wordpress.com/.
Sad news was revealed late this evening regarding Leicester City’s Paul Gallagher and his wife Hayley’s newborn twins. Unfortunately the couple lost their son, Luca James, while his twin sister, Ava Amelie, was reportedly under careful watch at an undisclosed special care hospital unit.
You may remember Hayley making headlines in March 2011 when she and several other footballers’ wives from the Midlands trekked across China’s Great Wall to raise money for The Meningitis Trust. She championed the charitable cause in honour of her brother-in-law who died from the disease as a young boy, and was joined by Becky Doyle, wife of Birmingham City goalkeeper Colin Doyle, who also encountered the disease after the Doyle’s baby son, Liam, nearly died from meningitis in 2010.
Best wishes to the Gallaghers and our sincerest condolences go out to them.

Such tragic news, I hope their little girl pulls through. That poor family.
How sad. Thoughts and prayers for this family.
Oh heart breaking news, prayers go to the family! No one should suffer this!
Oh no, that is so awful! I hope the little girl will be alright. My deepest felt thoughts and prayers go out to the family. What they must go through right now.
Terrible news. Just saw the former Danish footballer Stig Tøfting on tv telling about how he lost his son Jon after 23 days to meningitis. First time he ever talked about it and he did it to raise awareness for world meningitis day. He is usually very private so it was a bold move.
Such sad news. I hope the little girl makes it.
God bless all three of you <3
Keep fighting girl! Best wishes to the family.
This is heartbreaking. Prayers for their daughter Ava. I hope the little one fights through. I dare not even think of the other outcome.
