Aww, bless footballers who stand up for a noble cause! Family friends of ours lost their son in one of the speight of stabbings in London this year. I wouldn't want any other family to go through what they have been through. As for this compaign and whether this is the 'right' approach to stopping knife crimes is another matter, but making a stand at all is better than sitting back and letting the situation gets worse! Well done to Rio and the two Davids on getting involved.

Not a Becks fan but even I was choked when he told the story about his mate getting stabbed!! I think 3 footballers highlighting the problems in British society at the moment will probably do more good than any amount of Police or Politicians can!!! On a less serious note Jamo’s looking mighty fine this season – now if he’d just shave his head……..

…They all look confused. I know its mean to say that because of WHAT they were talking about, but… seriously. Becks looks uninterested and has successfully picked up the American posture, Rio looks like he seriously wants to take a nap (I can see him falling over onto the table), and James.. James cracked me up more than anyone.
LOVE these three guys, all for different levels of talent vs hotness. Re: the press conference: It sucks, as an American, to watch Britain (in the past, practically a Utopia compared to us) plunge to near the same depths of civil despair. Kids dying in the street, crack babies, drive-bys. The government had a flipping textbook on how to avoid it. It’s called American history from the late 80′s forward. Frustrating.
