Transfer Totty: Killing Us Softly

So, wow, there is like, nothing happening in the world of football. Other than the odd pre-season training and MLS suspension, obviously. But in terms of some good gossip, quality photos of thunder thighs, or just a nice shot of a WAG getting out of a limo without knickers on, we’ve got nothing.

Okay, so we did read how 37-year-old Alessandro Nesta is relocating to Montreal to play for the Impact next year. And how him signing for the Canadian club will allow him to high five his fellow hottie Italians Marco Di Vaio, Bernardo Corradi and Matteo Ferrari on the reg.

Still. We have the ability to exist for years solely on jam sandwiches and photos of David on all fours, but this all rings hollow for us today.

Kickettes, is the ennui of the looming transfer window making you insane yet? Luka Modric to Real MadridOlivier Giroud to Arsenal? Jordi Alba to Barcelona? Robin van Persie to ____? Someone put us out of our misery until late August? Please?

Aaahhh, darling Kickettes … can't you just suspend your "misery" by staring at this foto of Nesta for 2 or 5 or 10 hours? I can! (thank you!!!!)

RvP is leaving London. Feel sorry for his wife Bouchra! Such a great city to live!

Obviously with Olive leaving for Arsenal, the cute-quotient at Montpellier has dropped a bit, but fortunately they've brought in a couple of likely-looking replacements. http://www.mhscfoot.com/liste-saisons/saison-2011…

Gutted about Robin. Absolutely, utterly, completely GUTTED. He's been my hero ever since he scored that screaming volley against Charlton all those years ago and seeing him finally fulfil his potential this year has been amazing for us Arsenal fans. I'm not surprised he's going, but it doesn't stop it hurting. Do us a favour RvP…Go to Spain. I can't bear to see you back at the Grove in a different shirt :'(

Totally agree. Well the way things are going it seems like our whole team is dismantling. I'm hearing that Theo also wants out. Who next? The people we actually signed??

    • Leya_S says:

100% agree. He couldn't go anywhere in the EPL where it wouldn't hurt terribly to see him….
I'm still hoping he decides to see his contract out and then leave on a free at the end of 2013…although I doubt Gazidis is going to let THAT happen…

The summer transfer window and all the speculation/rumours makes me CRAZY every year, can't wait until it slams shut this year because it's killing me to know where RVP, Hugo Lloris and my other fave players will end up.

Pleased about the Gylfi Siggurdson move to Tottenham, he and Bale are going to look soooo cute together.

Anyone heard about whether or not Guti is going to West Ham? This world needs as much Guti as it can get!!
