Transfer Totty: Marco Borriello Goes To AS Roma

We’re suffering from a case of the “shoulds”, Kickettes. We really should set aside a good few paragraphs here to advise you of the latest developments in the footballing career of Marco Borriello.
You see, Marco has just agreed a loan deal that takes him from AC Milan to rival Serie A side Roma. If all is well, he will sign on with Roma permanently at the end of the season for approximately 10 million Euros.
But unfortunately we haven’t been able to stop drooling, dribbling and discussing these pictures of Marco arriving at Roma since they plomped into our inbox this morning. As such, we’ve done roughly er… nothing since.
We’re kind of hoping that you will be so distracted by his delicious jawline, surprisingly appealing quiff and sensuously parted lips to note our indolence. Marco makes bad look good, yo.

I'm also from Sydney fresh off the boat from Milan… and married to a Sicilian. I could never be a tifo for A.C., because of the Berlusca, but mamma mia I think it's time to start being a fan for Roma. Borriello che figo.

Back in the days (when there were Kaka, Gourcuff, Tomasson, Shevchenko, and Marco) I used to <3 MILAN. But now it seems like everybody left. It's so sad that Marco never gets a place in Milan. Good luck in ROMA!
go back even further: Van Basten, Gullit, George Weah, Roberto Baggio, Savicevic, Di Canio, Boban, Kluivert and Marco Simone. They all leave. Unless their name is Maldini, its a fact of life.

Well it’s about time! I’ve been waiting for this Marco post for, what, 48 hours now?
I was honestly a little afraid he wouldn’t look so great in Roma’s colors (important things!), but Tina’s pics below have me convinced otherwise. Rawr.

Sono di Sydney, pero la mia famiglia è siciliana. I miei amici non capiscono la ragione per cui faccio al tifo per la Juve, però non me ne frego niente! Haha.
Io sono Italo-Canadese (la mia famiglia e di Campania pero sono cresciuto a Montreal). Per le ragioni che non ho mai capito, la maggioranza di Italo-Canadesi amano Juventus. Sono il solo tifosa di Milano fra i miei amici. Così sembra che le nostre circostanze sono lo stesso:)

Juventus is actually my second favorite team. I've been shocked by their moves also but in a positive way. Glad they added Quagliarella but in a way I'm sad about Trezeguet and Camoranessi.

I like this spreading out of talent in Serie A. This may be the most interesting season for a while with Inter being TSO-less, AC Milan has a killer team. Now if only Juventus can get their act together…

Actually, Juve was Sunday. ROMA was Saturday and I was squealing, rooting and just my normal self.

He's a ginger with a larger nose than most, I admit, but he is still my number one. That does not mean I do not think that Marco is something fine. It's almost ridiculous how fine he is. I blame Kickette for always pitting Marco v. Xabi.
