I think the tatts are tribal Samoan ones – Tim's Mum is originally from Western Samoa. Also, Maoris are indigenous to New Zealand, not Australia.

Oh do I love being an Everton fan and seeing that after every match. Timmy is awesome in all ways -from his sports to his looks-.
Oh and just to clear up the tattoo for you guys. It is a tattoo that honours his family, his children, his wife, his parents, everybody is represented on that tattoo. He promised his late grandmother he would get it and he did.
He is gorgeous without it and even yummier with it because he shows he is such a sweet guy.
