is his father dead??????????? really :( ???????????

    • senora ramos says:

yea, he died a few months ago. villareal let him off for sometime to go deal with it. i'd never wish losing a parent on anyone.

I am so completely torn on him… Part of me thinks: traitorous bitch and part of me thinks: defination of the American dream.

I do feel bad for the loss of his dad though…RIP

Awww he is such a cutie!!!!! I love him!!! Was he born in the States (New Jersey or New York I think) and I guess that is why Senora Ramos is calling him a traitor lol because he plays for the Italian NT?? To answer his question though no I don't think using different shampoos through out the week will hurt his hair. Lol I asked this same question to my older sister once and she told me it was actually pretty healthy for you hair LOL :) .

he's father left italy for a better life for his family. giussepe was raised here with all the benefits of living here. then decides to be on the italian national team. all of that is understandable though if you have a strong tie to your roots.

however the way he celebrated his goal against us is completely unacceptable. that's all.

i just have a strong dislike for him.

I understand…My mum is from America and she supports the United States NT and I understand how you could have felt disrespected. I would too if a baller from England played for another NT and acted that way too.

      • shay says:

I like giuseppe but I have to agree that he was wrong to celebrate that goal. He even said in a press conference he considers the USA his home, not Italy. But it's all right cause we knocked Italy out of competition despite the goal. USA! USA! USA!

Ramos, I'm a little more concerned about the threats that lie ahead at the world cup for Spain and not events of the past, most notably Messi, who is great for la ligua but not for our national team come June.

        • senora ramos says:

well, thea, the way i look at it is that messi plays out of position in argentina and is not as much as a factor as he is for barca. in terms of scoring ability, argentina should make everyone extremely nervous, but as i have stated in the past have diego for a coach, and while he was a phenomenal player, he sucks as a gaffer.

i do admit, that i am a bit worried for spain come the summer b/c of who they would be playing against in the knock out stages (brazil and portugal imho). do we see the same pressure and underperformance of the past or did the euro cup really push them to come together and not be underachievers. it should be interesting to see. if my <3 can't take it (go yanks), then i would be pretty depressed if it wasn't spain.

also, i am quite aware that we (usa) won't win it this year, but i can't help think if my new orleans saints can win the superbowl after 43 years of being a team and never making the big game (you know the "other" football) then the day will come when the yanks shock the world :)
