Tyler Ruthven: Would You?
We aren’t sure if we could cope with his eyebrows in between waxing appointments, but Mr. Ruthven has his fans out there. We know this because they continue to spam our inboxes with urgent requests for the Kickette Army to review and rate the Red Bulls defender.
Without further ado, the 6’2″ 24-year-old signed with New York in March 2012, and over the course of these past few months, he’s morphed from boy-man to man-boy. Interestingly, Tyler’s thighs have never seemed juvenile. Well done to him. However, he looks about two years shy of successfully growing a full-blown beard, which counts as a strike against him in our books.
Random: his father is former Major League Baseball pitcher Dick Ruthven.
As for strike two, Ruthven makes exactly $33,750 a year. That’s not how a footballer’s life should be, surely?
Considering his excellent bone structure, quads and inability to support any shopping addictions in the financial sense, what’ll it be Kickettes? Tyler Ruthven: would you or wouldn’t you?

Sadly, the pay in the MLS is nowhere NEAR what people playing on European first division teams are paid.
Once (if ever) he starts making a ton of money he won't want little ol' me. So I'll take him now!
