Just a few of the many articles that mention that they already got their church, which will be in her town of Corral de Almaguer, they visited the church with her parents. And in that town, the tradition is that when the guy meets the girl’s parents that its a done deal, that the marriage is certain. Also she has already moved to his house and are living together.

imo he chose the USA for a reason – people here generally don’t know who he is, so here I think he’s trying to get away from attention. Other than whoever’s taking the pictures, if you look at the crowd in some of these photos, they’re all ignoring him because to them he is just another tourist, they don’t know who he is, and I think that’s what he wanted. If he had gone anywhere in Europe for example he would have been followed by everyone everywhere.

if iker and his gal had wanted to be private they would most likely had gone quite un noticed but as it was the hole trip is very well documented. From (and here is where it gets quite funny) ikers visit at a travelagency via the check in to the cuddly fooling around ‘like young lovers use to do’.

whatever you’re saying makes sense but only when you do not consider iker’s personality. yes i only know about his ”personality” through interviews etc which isn’t saying much but you cannot tell me that everything we read about him his fake or something. that isn’t the case with ANY famous person.
if you see his time with eva you wouldn’t see iker being expressive about his love for her and i think that was because of the public attention he got. i do not know why those two broke up really but i think it COULD have something to do with his struggle to be okay with all the attention.
and are considered one of the best goal-keepers EVER! when you make peace with something like fame, i think it becomes okay to have the ‘like young lovers use to do’ attitude.

well one of his best friends (ramos) likened him to the Hulk (not to superman or batman or anything slightly gentlemanish) and i guess he should know. iker is (as are most ballers) a huge ego who uses thier trophy women as they would cars or houses or anything that might boast their ego.
of course there are exceptions, and iker might have been one but in his choice of this kind of model aka ‘reporter’ (that is a tv speaker who is only there because of her hot body) not much better than a model. He has shown himself to be just that an ego in need of boasting. Thoug with slightly less prestige than beckham since he wasn’t able to get himself a real first class lady.
Here’s my two cents worth, not that it matters. Maybe the pictures were staged or maybe they were taken by one or two lone fans; I choose to believe the latter. There are a ton of pseudo paparazzi popping up everywhere and all you need is one camera and somewhere to post the picture. Maybe he wanted a non beach holiday where he would be less recognizable.
However someone is bound to recognize him after he won the World Cup and tongued his girlfriend down in front of cameras worldwide. Heck, I would have taken his picture and sent it in, too.
I am laughing at Senora Sonrisa’s comments just because I live in Spain and as a true madridista I followed iker for more than 12 years even before he played for the first team.Iker lives in Madrid where all those scumbag tv gossip shows, paparazzi and wannabees live, he is one of the captain’s of Real Madrid and the captain of the Spanish National team people are always interested in him but he is a really down to earth and friendly person, he is constructing a house in his hometown where he feels comfortable and loved – it is not a rich area.He does not live in a huge house with large fences because he lives alone and is not used to it even though I think he should because the paparazzi are hanging out there 24/7 which is a shame.
If you live in Spain you will know that during and after the world cup, they are the hot topic here, ministers, the leader of the opposition party, sports press etc. were talking about them. You will know that they followed them around the moment they stepped foot in Madrid, restaurants, her shopping ALONE, him going to travel agency ALONE.The day they went to the airport, they ARRIVED seperately but still there are pics of both of them during the day till there meeting.
The agency that sold the photos in SF is American, not Spanish,if your theory is correct they would sell an EXCLUSIVE to a Spanish magazine. The gossip progams were just discussing the value of photos of them in a beach i.e. Sara in a bikini – lots of money.
Iker’s love life will always be in demand be it wih eva, rumors and pics with ariadne artiles, bank girl and even more so with Sara unfortunately due to her job. I feel bad for them, they certainly don’t want this they had to go through a lot after those silly accusations during the world cup, that is why Iker was even more emotional and kissed her in front of the whole world. I think they truly love each other and hope that they could survive this pressure – best of luck to them.

Uh, just pointing out that regardless of the fact that Casillas is not well-known in the United States, photos of him still go for A LOT of money in Europe, and American photographers know that. They weren’t taking these photos to be sold to US tabloids–they’re for European ones. He might be unknown to the American public, but he probably would not be unknown for American paycheck-seekers.
Also, most famous football players are snapped on vacation and going about their day to day activities. It doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re trying to be the next mega-brand, like the Beckhams. People find them interesting and photos of them sell for big money.
Totally agree with what Violets said. Besides, the Spanish agencies are definitely in contact with the American ones now, asking for more photos because they have the resources and it is more efficient.
Fact -This couple may not sell in US but they do sell in Europe not only Spain at the moment.

When you travel, your body takes a couple of days to adjust to the local temperature. I live in the Philippines and whenever I go to America, I have to wear jackets while you see everyone in spaghetti straps for a couple of days until i get used to the temeprature.
It is San Francisco–The temperature right now is 17 degrees Celsius. SF never really gets warm until about August, September.
He is beautiful, plain and simple. BUT what the hell is up with her outfit and those shoes? Gimme a break, she looks silly in the getup. Looks like she spend the morning before sightseeing spackeling a bathroom. And who the hell goes sight-seeing in what are probably 4 inch heels? Such bad style for such a pretty girl.
Actually, she has a great style, she is just casual here. But in Spain she is the “it” girl, whatever she wears next day is a best selling.

The media has always tried to make Iker the next Beckham (especially since they are good friends since they played in Real Madrid together) and he has always tried to avoid that, in fact, sometimes he dresses in a certain way just to avoid that.

most an ever so famous footy can aspire for is some kind of model style trophy woman, the lowest (stil very rich) goes for ‘glamour’ models, the more established goes for ordinary models or tv faces, the same as models, they just talk worlds from scripts real journalists and editors have created.

Ya know that’s funny cos when I was looking at the tv ratings for the World Cup in the US San Diego was almost always either at the top or near it.

I am less than an hour south of San Francisco! Where can I find Iker?? I just found out yesterday that Real Madrid will be playing a friendly against Club America on August 4th. Will Iker be here until then I wonder?!

who knows what the ring means? It could be a played-down version as to thwart attention. If it were “just a ring,” she’d be wearing it on her right hand, i bet, signifying that they are just dating. They’re too old to play “let’s pretend for the hell of it” wearing it on the left hand. It must mean something–but in which direction? we don’t know …
actually in most of europe you wear your wedding ring on your right ring finger. so left is good

Am I the only one who thinks that this feels a little too staged. I mean for all the time i have been following this blog i have not seen any photos of iker on vacation. And now he seems to be accompaied by a photographer where ever he moves.
My guess is that this is a (tacky) way of getting publicity. perhaps mr & mrs C whishes to become the new becks?

It is not a set up at all, all the opposite, what they want is to be left alone, that’s why they travelled so far, to a country were soccer is not so followed. But they are very famous in Spain and are followed all the time, no matter where they go. Just go and see the rest of the pics other sites have published, fans stopped them all the time. If fans recognized them, why wouldn’t the photographers?
And publicity to sell what? They don’t sell anything, in fact, they have said no to many publicity offers.
So hard is to beliebe that not everyone wants to be like the Beckhams? Also, if they would care about things liek that, they would buy expensive clothes and she would wear tones of makeup.

I hope Iker, and Sara know how to speak english!! Haha do most of the Spain boys know how to speak english? Mainly Sergio Ramos because if he can’t speak English it could take a toll on our future ‘relationship’. I know a little spanish… but still… Can he speak English?

So long as he paid attention to Pepe Reina’s lessons and no one asks him what month it is (“the 25th of june, jule?”), he’s all set.
He has had many British team mates (and most of them like David never learn more than 2 Spanish words), and he has studied too, so I’m sure he knows how to speak it well enough.
