Victoria Spices Things Up

Image: Reuters.

Last night, Victoria Beckham headed back to the day job for the Spice Girls Reunion tour, which started in Vancouver, Canada.

David was in attendance and the girls performed all their big hits and even had solos. Well, except for Posh, who instead did a catwalk sort of strut and posed rather than sing.  But whatevs, did anyone really expect her to break into an operatic aria medley?

Interesting speculation coming from our favourite gossip, Lainey, who says Victoria might have had her implants removed prior to the tour as the Cavalli costumes were too tight and left little negotiation room for the boobage during the jumping and other high energy sections of the dance routines. Hmm.

Kickettes with Spice tickets, do drop us a line and fill us in on all the action when the Spice Girls come to your town.

Side note: the UK tabloids have been a buzz with Victoria’s s controversial comment about her true fans being the ones that cry or pass out when they meet her.  Watch the video on DVB Style and see for yourself: totally taken out of context.

Well I saw them last night and all I can say is what a fabulous show! It’s not a concert – it’s a show. There were gals in the audience all dressed up as the original spice girls. The noise level was unbelievable (the volume rose exponentially when Posh did anything). It was definitely a ton of fun. The ladies are HOT too. Totally ripped. The costumes are amazing, the flow and costume changes were really well done. I was impressed.

The Globe and Mail (Canada’s “national newspaper”) disses Victoria’s performance in their review:…

Ohhh HKG your getting me even more excited now!!!!

Going to see Maroon 5 tomorrow night which will be fantastic but nothing beats The Spice Girls!!

  7. HKG says:

Victoria Beckham’s performance was hot! literally when you can strut down a concert stage without singing and just rock out with a hot mini dress with a train and a sexy pair of aviators… you know your the shit! She did a killer job and all together the girls were insane! I have to say it was just an awesome concert! they performed to the dime!! Of course the critics are not going to be easy on them, they never have been. If your into the spice girls and wanna see a phenomenal concert definatley go!

  8. tammyv says:

Darling Kickette sisters… help me decide if it is worth paying $150 to see the concert on Sat? I need guidance.  I want to so badly but is it really worth it?

  9. HKG says:

The concert was AMAZING!!! Went and watched it last nite, and we sat right infront of David and his kids!!! They were soo cute, they were supporting the POSH spice shirts.  The ladies did a killer performance.  Victoria even struts down the runways in her aviator shades, and hottest dress i have ever seen!!!

Everyone was going insane when the concert started!! It was soo loud at times you couldn’t even hear the ladies sing.  Mel B even gets into the crowd and starts dancing.

It is worth every penny! The best concert i have gone too!  It did help that i saw Beckham <img src="; width="19" height="19" alt="wink" style="border:0;" />
If you can find tickets DEFINATELY go, its worth all the money you spend.

  10. bri says:

    def worth every penny. lots of clips floating around, looks like soo much fun. i’m dying for tickets but unlikely. from the clips and what others have been saying it sounds FAB!! but according to Lainey the press conf. beforehand was the place to be. according to her, beckham porn was in full on action. hmm…i’m thinking the beckham family will expand sometime nxt year. what i wouldn’t do for some clips of that&#8230 <a href="http://;” target=”_blank”>;

    1. Victoria does not NEED the breast implants. If she did take them out, good for her.

    2. If I met Victoria, I WOULD cry or pass out.  <img src="; width="19" height="19" alt="big surprise" style="border:0;" />

  12. Cate says:

    Holy D-Cups, Batman!

I would see them, yes I would. Unfortionetly, last time they came to town (before the split) I also couldn’t see them. And this time they’re not coming to Phoenix.

I’m always missin’ me som Spice.

  13. brandy says:

They all look FIERCE!!! Totally rockin’ bods!

I’m sorry, but it really doesn’t look like she had her implants removed!!!

  14. Jenna says:

I don’t think robots can hit operatic high notes. Posh is looking pretty robotic in those shots. I think you have to go see them just to make sure they are not using Posh robots in her place.

(And what’s the deal with the K-Fed lookalikes wearing tennis whites in the background? Those guys are kind of scary.)

  15. Elise says:

tammy- I think that if it wouldn’t kill me to blow $150 then I’d go.  I never cared for their music (though strangely I am able to sing along with most of the songs…hmmm) but my shallow, superficial little heart always loved the girls themselves, so I’d like to go just to see them in person.  I like pretty things, and they’ll be fun to look at what with their hair and the costumes and all that.  It’s not really a concert (I mean it’s not Coldplay or anything, is it?) but rather, like Robin said, it’s an event. Paying $150 for ‘an event’ doesn’t sound that far off the mark, now does it? <img src="; width="19" height="19" alt="wink" style="border:0;" />  Let us know!!!

  16. Robin says:

What concert tour ISN’T about the profits? No one goes on tour unless they’re making money. As long as I am entertained then I am getting what I paid for. From what I understand this is going to be a two hour long ‘plotless musical’. I know for a fact that I will be very entertained by that and my money will be well spent.

  17. michelle TN (underst says:

I was at home writing a paper happily missing the event in Vancouver.  I like Posh and all but what more do the Spice Girls have to offer to us?—WAIT, it’s not about the fans, it’s about the profits!

Oddly enough, my younger brother got to go the show last night.  He claimed that he didn’t want to (his friend offered the ticket for free) but he DID borrow my camera . . .

  18. MrsXabiAlonso says:

Tammyv it is deffo worth it, I paid

  19. Becca x says:

Tammy… Of Corse Its Worth It! I Soo Badly Want To Go But I Cant Find Tickets Anywhere For A Good Price :p I Am only 13 And If i Had A Job i Would Be Buyin Them Tickets But As I Havent I Cant.. So You Should Go And Then You Can Tell Me All About It Afterwards!!
    Apparently David Beckham Brought All of Them A Bracelet <img src="; width="19" height="19" alt="smile" style="border:0;" /> How Kind.

  20. Robin says:

I’ve got tickets to the San Jose show tomorrow – I paid $135 for mine (from ticketmaster) and so I don’t think $150 is a bad price. I’ve paid $1800 for Madonna tickets before (not me personally, it was work related).
I’m totally excited about the show – think of it as an ‘event’ not a normal concert.
