WAG Watch: Desperate Scousewives

If you’re based in the UK and the dual-pronged assault of TOWIE and Geordie Shore hasn’t melted your brain yet, you will be thrilled to learn that another WAG-based ‘dramality’ show is on the horizon.
Desperate Scousewives intends to ‘lift the lid’ on Liverpool WAG culture – a prospect Abbey Clancy is justifiably nervous about considering that her cousin, Chloe Cummings, will be taking part.
‘The producers are going to play up to all of Liverpool’s stereotypes – and one of those is the idea that every girl wants to marry a footballer and live a WAG’s lifestyle.’
Well don’t they?
The source continued:
‘They will be making out that Chloe is desperate for a footballer husband, just like Abbey.’
Well, isn’t she (Chloe)?
And finally, one of Abbey’s mates reportedly told the paper:
‘Abbey fears the WAG theme will reflect badly on her and the rest of their family – as though they are only interested in hooking up with footballers.’
We like crap TV as much as the next perfectly coiffed, fragrant hot mess, but we partially agree with the now-reformed, Mum-of-one Abbey. Some lids should never be lifted.
Speak up, Kickettes: will you be watching?
