WAG Watch: Alex Goes to the Movies

The Fendi is edible; Alex’s nails are short and dark rather than long and frenched; the hair is non-bouffed – looks like we’ll be giving two snaps to Alex Curran-Gerrard for her look at the Sex and the City premiere in London yesterday. She’s looking rather well, no?
Side note: we are aware that the YSL Tributes urgently need to be retired, the makeup is heavy, and yes, we could do without the peekaboo black bra, but we’re focusing on the positive today.

I seldom wear makeup, and last night before my shower, I put on Alex-like eyeliner, thinking I could get it off easily. This was a mistake, as I tried to wash it off four times but I still had turquoise smudges around my left eye this morning. Does she also have a professional to remove her makeup?
Shoot, I can’t get past TFO’s comment and now I’m imagining her with green skin and William Shatner’s arms around her as he intones, “Your legs. Are great. But. The eyeliner. Is. Too. Thick.
Rusty, you can easily remove it with a specific cream that takes the make up off and moisturizes at the same time. Believe you me, I’ve been using eyeliner for years. I’m amazed my eyes didn’t dry out and fell off yet <img src="http://www.kickette.com/images/smileys/lol.gif" width="19" height="19" alt="LOL" style="border:0;" />

I’m with you Fourth – definitely too Star Wars Halloween costume for me.
However, for once she’s not too orange and not looking like she’s hiding a can of beer in her over-big bouffant hair. Much better sleek and straight and her legs look great.

She doesn’t look terrible here and I think the color of the dress goes with the whole SATC movie.
I can’t however defend those shoes because they seem to be the only pair she owns and I think it’s time she changes it up.

The dress? Oh man, where to start?? First of all, if the satin has already started to crease and wrinkle, just imagine what it’ll be like by the end of the film (if she even chose to sit through it). Second of all, the style of the dress. Particularly in that colour, she looks like Trashy Air Hostess Barbie. Or like a reject from the Britney Spears “Toxic” video. (Note to Alex: if multiple people have cited Britney Spears in reference to your ensemble, red flashing lights and alarm bells should be going off in your head. Danger! Danger! Abort mission!)
And while the ladies of SATC are normally beautifully put together, I have to say that I’ve seen the photos of the Fab Four from the premiere. Kim Cattrall looked fantastic, so did Kristin Davis. Cynthia Nixon looked pretty, but the dress was a bit severe. SJP looked pretty from the forehead down. I love me some wackadoo Phillip Treacy hats, but for the love of all that is good in this world, woman! What in the heck is that thing??!!

Compared to her usual looks I think she looks pretty nice. She is tan enough so the pink works well but I could do without the strap around the ankle and the extreme shortness of it all. Overall, well done Alex!

I do agree with Kickette today, love the dress although the bra is a no no, the shoes are lovely and a great pairing with the dress…I was afraid she would wear something bright and messed up but she looks good.

I don’t think she walks around much with the shoes on I’m sure she gets chauffered around everywhere which explains why she hasn’t broken her ankle.

i really don’t care for the outfit, i know brights are in and all, but it’s just too much for me….the shoes definitely are YSL, just patent, makes me wonder how many pairs she has of these things?!? i actually tried them on a few weeks back just to see what the fuss is about and i really wasn’t impressed. they were quite flimsy and looked sort of cheap up-close…i do give her props for walking around in them though, i almost broke my ankle!
the clutch is way cute and goes with the outfit well….the hair is A LOT better and i think she looks really put together and much better than usual.

since my hair will be darn long by Halloween, I’m dressing as Alex. I’ll also have to strengthen my ankles so I can wear hooker heels. But it’ll be another Halloween where I’ll have to explain my costume.

Alex picked the perfect dress for a night out at the movies. If she spills popcorn down her front, she’ll very easily be able to retrieve it without any fuss or awkward contortions.
I just hope she’s careful sitting down at the theatre, and getting in/out of her limo because we really don’t need to see any *more*.

First I saw the picture and I said “good look” but then I saw the dress on a model(its an Alexander Mc Queen) and I can said: was a not bra design. Second the model looks better but she doesn’t have implants.
Sheree Murphy was also at the premiere and what she wore: the same Lanvin dress that Jude Cisse, Coleen, Alex(as a top)wore, but her was black.It seems that in Liverpool there are not other dresses.

i Love her bag! Fendi, a fab choice! i thought the dress was nice but someething a bit longer and less revealing might have looked better. i suppose she wanted 2 show off her legs, they are fab! The shoes are abit last month too! if they are her favourite then fair enough, we all have a pair of shoes that we dont want to let go of. All of you that are saying omg i cant believe im saying she looks nice! you are all pathetic!
