Weekend Results: Snow and Torsos
Image via AFB
Judging by the number of readers that sent us the following photos (some of which we were steadfastly photocopying and wallpapering across our front rooms when the email notifier went “ping!”), everyone enjoyed the footy tremendously this weekend.
Well, let’s edit: everyone enjoyed the men that weren’t afraid to be men. Aka, those who removed their clothing during freezing cold temperatures for the sake of macho, ego, ab flexing and telly ratings. For example:
Tim Cahill: (above) Homeboy has an aversion to clothing. He simply can’t keep his shirt on at the end of a match. We’ve featured Mr. Cahill regularly for his commitment to the strip off, but were still surprised to see him go for it during the 2-2 draw with Arsenal. Snow and torso? It’s an unusual combination, but hell, let’s shake it up a little.
David Beckham: even in the chill, he showed little concern for shrinkage during the Milan v Juve game, changing his shorts pitch-side. Colour us impressed.
Becks also swapped shirts with former Real team-mate Fabio Cannavaro and debuted his new torso-tatt. He’s a pro, this one.

Walter Samuel: we like a man with layers. (Not base layers, mind.)
So we appreciate that Walter chose both to reveal himself, and to hold back with a modicum of shy-boy by covering his face. We are attracted to both the tarty and the faux-modest.
Hope your team’s results (if they played, that is) were as good as these lads’ wardrobe choices.

Niiiiiccceeeee…
ou fell asleep?? I was still in awe sitting there watching for a 3rd time with my my mouth open and drooling. When avatar came to a climax, so did I… Without a doubt, best movie I’ve ever seen.
Tim Cahill gets my vote. Lovely!
I LOVE Timmy.
Oh goodness, can you imagine him coming at you with that furrowed brow, puckering his lips and tugging down his shorts. Yummy!
PULL IT, BABY!
hot tim!
But you girls left out the best Walter Samuel pic with the shirt off..
Check out the second pick in the article *grrrr* Cristiano ronaldo who?!

tim cahill looks amazing lol…he could pull those shorts down a lil more =)
it was such an awful weekend to have to travel. i hope they all know to *be careful*.
I think it should be an FA regulation that all footballers must remove their shirts after matches. After all, ladies pay to get in too!
An open letter to Mr. Cahill:
Dear Tim,
Lose the tat…show more lats.
Your Servant,
Susana
“I think it should be an FA regulation that all footballers must remove their shirts after matches. After all, ladies pay to get in too!”
Amen to that one!
I’m liking Mr. Cahill!
Well I dislike Beck’s new tattoo (not the fact he got a new tattoo just that specific tattoo design, but hey it probably means something to him). Am mildly scared he’s going to literally cover himself from head to toe in tattoos. Don’t mind the arm ones but leave the majority of your torso free Becks! (& most certainly the legs, cannot stand leg tattoos!)
*yawn* again Becks? I think I’ve seen his chest too often to find it interesting anymore. That and now that he’s back in Milan there are hardly any pictures of anyone else. Terrible. Cahill on the other hand…. YUM!
The weekend was exciting and ultimately good, a bit nervy at times what with Roma having to play down a man for 79 f*ing minutes thanks to our not-a-starter-anymore keeper Doni. But somehow we managed to keep hold of the game and the goal DDR scored in the first minute was the winning one.
You forgot Iker in the snow. Injured. Getting his thigh massaged. With extreme closeups of said thigh massage. Mmm.
YES!!! Were you wishing like anything you were the one doing the massaging??? I know i was!
Weekend highlight for me sadly was not captured on film….. but Owen Hargreaves played a full 90 minutes with the United reserves. A return to the top squad is on the horizon.
In the meantime, Tim Cahill is a nice distraction. Well done, Ms. Kickette.
I can’t believe I missed yesterday’s games. next time I need to call in sick to work.
Oh Becks, lol. But I must ask… is that a tattoo of Jesus?
Tim Cahill’s forearms are amazing. Wow.
That is Jesus indeed!

Thanks for the article
!
Oeffff! Tim…
Tim Cahill. Phhwwwooooaaaaarrrrrrrr . . . . .
It was all about the draws for my teams this weekend, but at least we played AND got points. And Roy’s Tractor Boys were live on Sky, which was so exciting (and a tip of the hat to Leicester City FC who worked hard to make sure that the game went ahead despite the ice and snow). But why doesn’t Sky have a “picture in picture” feature that keeps one camera focused on RK on the touchline the entire time? Such a wasted marketing opportunity. I would SO pay another massive subscription fee for that.
Oh yeah… Tim Cahill should be banned from wearing clothing. Becks always brings it for the ladies and he’s looking quite special there.
Tim Cahill oooooooooohhhhhhhhhh yummmmmmy, loving his commitment to the don't leave before the final whistle you'll miss the best bit cause …….
thank you. LOVE Cahill!!!!!
Tim Cahill is the pairfect start to my Monday morning.
And Becks removing shorts. I'm not going to ask why. I'll just sit and appreciate.
Thank you Kickette!
