Weekend Results: Total Eclipse Of Our Hearts

We watched an awful lot of football over the weekend. In case you have a life and were outside living it, here’s some of the varied highlights…

What’s Good: (at left) Flavio Ferreira celebrated Academica’s defeat of Sporting Lisbon in the Portuguese Cup final by making an illegal approach on Helder Cabral. Cabral either loved it, or suffered a broken back, depending on how you interpret his response.

Even Better: (below) Montpellier won Ligue 1. You will know this if you’ve been paying attention. What you won’t know is that prior to putting on their party outfits, they got undressed and ran round the pitch. A lot.

Bum’s The Best: (lead image) Paul Ince’s son, Thomas, allowed his left buttock the right to come out and play.
