Weight can be a taboo and touchy subject for we females to talk about, so out of respect for our secret stashes of junk food stuffed in our desk drawers, we won’t be going there today.

We do hope the same can’t be said for the following footballers, though, because we are taking them and their waistlines there today.

Where the hell has Mr Agbonlahor been hiding this hot bod of his?

We mean this in the nicest possible way but last time we took stock of the Villa veteran, he had a little extra cushion for the pushin’, so we’re elated to see his six-pack has since rekindled it’s romance with his chiseled hip dips.

And when’s the last time we were ever turned on by a player’s remarkably symmetrical upper body? Not never, that’s when.

Who’s Getting Fat: Eric Cantona, Retired Footballer

Ever since we ordered Netflix two weeks ago, we’ve become duvet hermits in our flats.

And if Eric Cantona’s puffy jowls are anything to go by, so has he. The former Manchester United and Leeds striker, notable for his forays into poetry and politics since his retirement in 1997, tried to conceal his burgeoning chin wings beneath a neat salt n’pepper beard at the London premiere of “Switch” Monday night, but we’re far too sophisticated to fall for such a simple diversionary tactic.

Before we started waffling on about this, we were looking for tech options to help us with our new addiction i.e. some sort of robot that will deliver all our food and alcohol requirements directly to our sofas.

Don’t get it twisted, Kickettes. We love us some Kung-Fu Cantona. What we don’t love is his apparently lax approach to mindless eating.
