Would You? Santino Quaranta, D.C. United

We may not know much about the MLS, but we commend the hiring process and priorities of D.C. United.
It was a sad, less attractive day when one of fav DC United players, Bobby Boswell, moved on to play for the Houston Dynamo, a team we know exactly nothing about, other than the fact that they may be located in Texas. If you will remember, Bobby was rated the 2006 Defender of the Year, is tall like a mofo and had no issues with going on record exclusively for us to rank the various “mingers” we had chosen for our Finest Five list.
Luckily, the powers that be at DC United understand the importance of replacing one hottie with another, and made sure to bring in 23-year-old Santino Quaranta. He is, you will be glad to know, hella tall also – 6’1”. We have yet to get his opinion on whether the time has come to remove Lampsy from the F5 list, but we will do our best to stalk that answer out of his people.
A few bits of random info for you on Mr. Q, a true bad boy gone good: he’s battled back from a serious drug addiction to rebuild his career – and is not afraid to speak publicly on the subject, is the eldest of four boys, was one of the youngest players in the MLS, and has a daughter named Olivia.
Do you fancy him? We appreciate, but we’re only about 75% on board. We still miss the Boz in black.
