WTF Files: Cheryl Cole’s Tattoos

image

We’ve been told this isn’t a new tatt, but one Cheryl Cole has had under wraps for a little while.

It says, “Mrs. Cole”

We’re not going to get all feminist and ish about branding yourself with your husband’s last name.

We’re not even going to go there about the potential laser removal costs and/or agony.

Nor will we make any observations on the location – one also favoured by Victoria Beckham, but that we have yet to be convinced is the classiest spot for a tatt.

Your feeling on romance-tatts, Kickettes? Anyone out there sporting several in Crouchie’s honour needs to speak up now.

Anyone think it is at all suspicous that she rolled this symble of undying love out right after she made the “dude, so you lost and it cost the economy of England a billion and dear husband you and your boys endless amounts of public humalition and the undying scorn of our country; but totally we can go rock out on holiday now! WAHOO!!!  Pass the Patron!” comments?

  3. that usually signals the beginning of the end.  Don’t know what to make of her selfish comment on England’s loss although like someone else mentioned it could’ve been made in fun.

  4. RedGirl says:

Is this the same Cheryl Cole that says “I have my own career, I don’t need a new car from my husband and I don’t want to be know as just another WAG”??

It’s amazing how people can change their minds so quickly…

  5. freddiegirl says:

Not big on tats.  And yeah, that usually signals the beginning of the end.  Don’t know what to make of her selfish comment on England’s loss although like someone else mentioned it could’ve been made in fun.

Lucky she not married to Jan Vennegoor of hesselink…………………..

Honestly, I don’t see the appeal.  Especially getting a tatt about Ashley Cole, c*** that he is.  No offense to anyone who likes him…I have a very strong (and probably irrational, I dunno) hatred towards him.

Ah well, to each his (or her) own.

  8. cheryl bites says:

Elise: you’ll regret it when they start having sex.

  9. Robin says:

I would find it that way RedGirl except that she put Mrs. Cole not her husbands name. It’s her own name.
It’s actually an interesting way to write your own name on your body. I mean tattooing ‘Cheryl’ isn’t so great but Mrs. Cole is kind of cool.

But then I like tats. I have 3. Of course I’d never put a name on my body, but that’s just me.

I think that its really cute.  I don’t think she did it to show she’s a wag cause we all know that already.  I would do it, just not in such a visible place.  Like near my *you know what* I might do it.  And even if they break up, I don’t think it’s regrettable.  Tattoos tell a story, in my opinion, && every tattoo represents a time in your life, something you believe in or love.  When I marry, I want to put his initials on my ring finger.  Even if it wasn’t his name, tattoos on the back of the neck are cute but a little too visible for me.

I like the lettering – I think it’s rather feminine and pretty. Though I’d never get ‘Mrs. Latour’ tattooed on myself, I can see that it’s a sweet thing to do. And can be made into a pretty vine pattern with flowers later on!

I’m still not convinced that she did say that, or that if she did she wasn’t being facetious. Sarcasm doesn’t translate well in print. The papers couldn’t wait to jump all over it – as papers will do.

  12. liv says:

    i think its dead sweet!!!

it shows that she truely loves him

    awwww

but is alex curran got one sayin mrs gerrard i laugh and i would end up crying haha

  13. tammyv says:

I believe that signals the start of the countdown to break-up clock.

Seriously that girl has issues. She really needs to talk much less and well, yeah just talk much less

Anyone think it is at all suspicous that she rolled this symble of undying love out right after she made the “dude, so you lost and it cost the economy of England a billion and dear husband you and your boys endless amounts of public humalition and the undying scorn of our country; but totally we can go rock out on holiday now! 14. Elise says:

What?  So you think having the numbers 26 and 8 tattooed on my arse is a bad idea?  lol

  15. Portia says:

i don’t like it. i’d rather have a tattoo that means something between myself and the sig other. “mrs. cole” seems so…unoriginal.

  16. saintscholes says:

yeah, it makes the back of her head a lot hotter… seems sweet, but with the subliminal possessive bitch factor too.

  17. Becca x says:

  19. carly says:

I feel an aura of disappointment coming from her regarding her marriage. That thing about Ashley doing nothing around the house, amongst other things…I think she was expecting something else.
Thankfully, she has a life besides being Mrs. Cole, otherwise I’d feel sorry for her.
